I've just got all my money out my pot (with a lot of poking!) and I'm going to bank it tomorrow (to make the best out of the interest) along with my Music magpie cheque and my simply drop cheque :)

    £57.44 all together

£1.97 in the pot for me today change from my new glasses which were purchased for the bargain of £88.03  I've been putting off collecting them since christmas as I couldnt afford the cost but my dear mum gave me £40 out of her holiday money (my crafty old dad had been hiding money from her, you'd think she would know by now as hes been doing it every year for the last 25 years, but each year she gets irate at him for hiding money from her :rotfl:)
Hubby donated the other £50 as he said 2 months was long enough to be squinting at everything and he wasnt upgrading the TV size again!!

Can you pop your total banked into you signature for me please. It helps when we do the grand total at the end of the challenge :D. You don't know how hard it is trawling through pages of older posts trying to find what people have banked or spent out ou their pots. Thanks ;)

  • hi all,

seems like everyone is doing well. i'm not :( my ex only paid half of the csa last month which is why i was so skint over half term - wasnt until i got letter from them i realised why short of money. this has had a knock on effect to this week and i have bills going out and little money! never mind, i will get sorted.

on a better note i did find 4p whilst cleaning out OH car yesterday, which has gone in pot for kids to count friday. and a lady getting off the bus yesterday gave me her day rider (didnt want anything for it either) so that saved me some money which will be going in pot when i get some money as i only had enough for a single to local garage for cash machine.
due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

Yes Rachel, that was me :D. It was a twenty pence piece and my pot is digesting it even as we speak!

Had to take £5.00 out of the pot yesterday to pay the windowman, 'cause I didn't have any change, but today I felt so guilty I put a ten pound note in!!:)
