I've just managed to catch up on the posts, LC that must have been so distressing, I can't begin to imagine how someone must be feeling to do that, just awful.
I'm so pleased you had a good time FM. I know what you mean about going back to work for a break, that will be me tomorrowAlthough I'll be on the countdown to my next block of annual leave at Easter, only seven weeks to go :rotfl:
I have finally completed another batch of ebay listings, 20 of them for today. It's hard work but it needs to be done. I'm going to carboot whatever doesn't sell, not that I've ever done a carboot before but there's a first time for everything and I really need to de-clutter. We moved into this house over five years ago and I've still got boxes that need unpacking, I've decided they will be unpacked at a carboot sale as we obviously don't need it.
Anyhow I hope everyone has had a good weekend, I've had a NSD today and don't have a penny in my purse so unless hubby comes good my pot will go hungry today
Take care everyone xx
Thanks sweetie.
Yes back to work to recharge the batteries ready for a busy weekend of netball, netball and more netball all on my three days off;) but it keeps me out of trouble.
Got a lecture from my sister so need to get a wriggle on and sort stuff for ebay but just been so busy.:p
Where is the time going..its scary only 7 weeks to go till easter and I have no time off except my days off:(
My main hols are towards the back end of the year, but might try and sneak the extra odd day with my days off.
Have a good day at work. Hope everyone is fine and dandy in the Daisy household.;)xx

I'm sorry to hear that Little Chicken, I hope your okay...
Well, you all may be wondering why is he up up at this ungodly hour on Sunday (the official day of rest)...Is he a crazy fool? No, well maybe...Of course I'm not (ahem ***clears cough in throat***). It's car boot day today, the official contender for best day of the week. Time to get elbowed by little old ladies with a glint in their eye :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.
Right, I'm sticking a lovely big golden coloured coin into the pot today, and whatever's left in change at the end of the day...:T
Hope you all have a great day .

Hi everyone! Good to be back with you after time helping family members, then having a filthy cold!
It's brilliant to see you've all been doing wonderfully well and plodding along with your savings...some of you almost galloping!! :jI've skipped fleetingly through the last few pages, so forgive me if I've missed something - just shout out if I need to know something - or if you do.
Good to see you back scuba, well done on putting the "take-away"on your sig! Well done on that £1 found too!
Well done on your DD, Bebs, she'll be well off before she leaves school!! :T
Good to see all's well with you, sparky and I hope the mess is clear now.
Great to see you too, Oops! Great news about the holiday AND that the roof is fixed!!
Good to see you're well on your way with your pot, tattycath.:)
Lovely to see you too, Absinthe Fairy, glad the move went well and your Bro brought your pot for you.:T
Don't worry, findingmyfeet, save as and when's possible - owt's better than nowt!daisygogo wrote:I'm wondering if I should leave my first pot all sealed up until December or am I better off bagging it up and getting it in the bank ? I was going to leave it at the back of the wardrobe but I'm not so sure what to do for the best?
Do what strikes you as best, daisygogo, if the bank feels the best way, then pop it in there, if it's safe in the wardrobe then leave it.
All the best with ebay or car boots, I hope they all sell.
Whoopee on your 1p roadkill, bexs.ua, your DS is a good 'n too!
All the best with your new venture, nu1isit? .....and if it brings a smile o your dear wife - what can I say! :rotfl:
Oh LC, an incident such as that must be a terrible thing to be part of. That poor driver, not to mention the loved ones of the poor soul who must have been so terribly distraught! How it is for those who clear up after can't even be imagined.
Well done on your DH saving you ALL that cash, Kirsty! Good news of your £10er too. :T
Lovely to see you, yorkshire-lad, a very Happy Birthday to you!
All in all, you're doing pretty well, 123budget, plenty of time though.
Hello there Footiemad, well the words I mainly noted in your post were rugby, footie and..... lucky streak! No wonder you're losing weight if you're doing all 3 but especially the latter!!!!!!! :rotfl:
Have a lovely Monday everyone and save as well as YOU can.

:hello:Everyone. Haven't posted in ages as nothing has gone in my pot until today - I've needed my pound coins to get by! Nine pounds in today however!:jHere dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I can olny afford to put 1p, 2p and 5p coins in mostly and the odd 10p... Well I am a poor student
My last check was last week and I think it came to about £4.61 plus £5 from last year's christmas money which I've been tempted to take out but I've been good so far... Still looking for a part time job so I can afford to put a bit more away for presents this year.Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
