    Hi all :wave::wave:

    Sorry not been about much, however i'm still on with my challenge and cutting down the spending - Jan has been an horrible month - But was paid yesterday, so hoping February will be a better month :p

    I'm not counting how much goes in my sealed pot, however I have a bit of a problem..... I think OH is taking money out.... :eek: I've already caught him taking coins out of my daily £1 challenge and i have made sure he's put it back, but my sealed pot is harder to control....

    Been giving this a bit of thought, dont want to put the money in my bank account savings account as I think it will be too easy to 'move' the money when skint... So what about one of those 'old fashioned' passbook account thingies????

    That way I could empty my pot on a regular basis and pay it into there... Does anyone know of any??? I'm not too bothered about interest rates etc, as when its count up time i'll be paying off my credit card debts with it, its just to keep it all safe and out of the way of OH....

    Today is a good day too, just got a cheque for £25 from premium bonds - that will open the new account nicely :rotfl::rotfl:

    The boy has discovered that if he persists in leaving change lying on the coffee table in the living room it will find its way in to my bottle after he's gone to bed....and yet when I came back in to the flat after a walk in to town this morning I've discovered yet more so in to the bottle it goes.:A

    I don't know about passbook accounts but can you ask your bank to open you an account you can only manage over the counter? I've asked mine to remove one of my 'spare' current accounts from my internet banking for that very reason.
