    Hi LC

How are you. What holidays have you got planned for next year? We haven't decided on anything yet but hope to get away in February, Somewhere hot I think.

Do you think we should ask Sparky how his spreadsheet is getting on or should we just be quiet.

We were very good on the last challange so do you think we will be mentioned in the SPC4's New years honours list:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Why not emiliah, better than forking out on one. As it's a jar you could put or make a covering to go round it so it's nor see through, however, if having the cash on show can motivate you to saving more - leave it as is is. Lots of ways you can do it and all about personal choice.

PS. How about putting some tape, part round jar and glass, round, it helps if you're inclined to be tempted.

Sue x Anyone else wishing to join, please say the word, you're most welcome. :xmassmile

Hadn't thought about the temptation - jar top now firmly secured with tape, and covered with some wrapping paper I had.

As I'm feeling so enthused about this challenge, think I will have a look round the site for any others I might fancy.

Hi everyone, hope you're having a good weekend! Just emptied a load of change into my pots. Found a few pound coins by the bus stop at work last night (must be all that fumbling with gloves and the like). When I say pots, I have one for coppers, one for silver and one for gold and notes. That way its a whole lot easier paying it all into the bank at the end of the year when you have to bag it all up!

  • Yeah!! :j Finally sorted out a decent pot to seal up, i didnt want one i could see into, i think i'd find this too tempting!!

Ive used a celebrations choccy tin sealed it up and cut a slot in the lid, Ive also hid it in the cleaning cupboard so kids and hubby dont find it:rotfl:
I want it to be a big suprise next year when we open it :)

I had a good squirrel about the house and found loads of change in various nooks, crannies, draws, under sofas and beds, pockets and bags, i didnt count it just bunged it all in with a £2 coin from my purse for good measure!!
