Morning all.
£7.74 into my pot this morning. My little purse is always empty (though I always leave atleast 1p in it for luck). It looks so sad and forgotten as the other pennies are never in there long to keep it company.
Hope you all have a great weekendMoving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Am not sure I'm following this challenge very well as I only have £1.30 in my pot however it is making me budget a lot better which has got to be all for the good right? I tend to only draw cash out when I know I need it and am not spending it the way I used to. It just seems to go constantly on bus fares for my daughter!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

there should have been £4 change from butcher to go in pot BUT remembered i had borrowed £3 from eldest moneybox as i had no change for bus, so i put his £3 back and only £1 in pot.
not counted loose change as the kids asked if they coulld help count it and put in bottle. task for tonight or weekend.due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

Hello everyone, hope all of you are well and looking ahead to a lovely weekend.
Footiemad, you're really doing yourself proud with your determination to get your debts paid off. I know you put it down to the aid of MSE and to an extent it's true, but it still all has to be actually done by YOU! Very well done indeed, be proud!
Well done on your £50 earnings, sparky..your 5p too - though bionic????! You'll be telling us your Lee Majors soon....or a watered down version!
Glad to see you bothered and received what you were owed, honeybear68! :T
How is your young lass now, fishcakes? I'm hoping she's recovered ok.
Well done on your earnings, Bebs! :T We can't always pot it though, sometimes it's more useful in other directions, do what's best for you!luckycharlie wrote:DH has started his own pot:eek: It's because next year is our thirtieth wedding anniversary and I have told him it's our diamond one (he has no idea about things like this) so he is saving for a diamond ring for me :T:T I was worried I might not be around for my real diamond anniversary:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You crafty beggar LC 2!!!!! Bally good idea though. :j:j
Don't worry, VALM, some of us get very little chance to save cash, but every little bit you're able to put away will come in useful. Keep going and be happy with it as it's still savings and that in itself is the important part!
You're doing very well, Trim MB...keep it in the pot and you'll be sooooo pleased you did come Dec!! You have a good weekend too...
...everyone else also.
Well done, postie_bear! Wouldn't have a clue where to start with cribbage.
