An attorney arrived home late, after a very tough day trying to get

    a stay of execution.
His last minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed and he
was feeling worn out and depressed.
As soon as he walked through the door at home, his wife started
On him about, 'What time of night to be getting home is this? Where
Have you been? Dinner is cold and I'm not reheating it'.
And on and On and on.

Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he
Poured himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak
In the bathtub, pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks as he
    Dragged himself up the stairs.
While he was in the bath, the phone rang.
The wife answered and was told that her husband's client, James
Wright, had been granted a stay of execution after all. Wright would not be
    hanged tonight.
Finally realizing what a terrible day he must have had, she decided
To go up stairs and give him the good news..
As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the sight of her
husband, bent over naked, drying his legs and feet.
'They're not hanging Wright tonight,' she said.
    He whirled around and screamed,
'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOMAN, DON'T YOU EVER STOP?!'

Brilliant!!!! That did make me LOL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Its me... late again now I have caught up properly having laughed my socks off at Sparky...£10.80 popped into Rosie. 80p change from shopping and the rest from begging the treasurer at training to change a note for me and decided to split it £10 for my purse and the rest in the pot.

Start afresh later today as its pay day whoop whoop :j :j. and decided that I will try and aim for at least £1 per day for Rosie but I wont beat myself up if its not..anything will do, as as pleased as punch with what I have achieved this far. Long may it continue.

Finally I am watching the pennies and aiming to clear my debts. Already got rid of one with the help of the diffence I got back from changing the car and there's some in the savings account too. I am loving 2011 already. A real positive start and all thanks to MSE, DFW's and not forgetting my lovely fellow potters on SPC for giving me so much inspiration.

I thank you I thank and once again I thank you. :T :T

Chin up to all who are down and hope anyone who is poorly sick feels better soon. ;) xx

    Good morning gang
DW handed me 1 X £2 coin 1 X 50p for the Summer 2011 pot, she then emptied her purse of about £1.20 in loose change for the sealed pot YAY

I also received a cheque for £50 from newvista live yesterday, my first from them, plus I still have £28 in my account with them, so hopefully another one on its way soon.

5p road change, spotted on the ground in the pitch black, I must have bionic eyes, I'm like the 6 pound man, a discounted version of the 6 million dollar man

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving X

    Morning folks,

I've been having NSDs so no change for the pot and had no £1 coins spare either. I have found 10p in roadkill this week though so that's gone in my pot :D

Hopefully I'll have a little more change after payday...
