Good morning everyone

How inspiring! I was reading this thread trying to cure my inexplicable insomnia (was it my 9pm coffee??) and after raiding the kitchen cupboard for a tupperware jar and emptying my purse/bag/bedroom floor I am now the proud owner of a (not yet) sealed savings jar with 81p in it!!

Not only that, I now have £3.66 in my virtual sealed jar as well!

My car tax, insurance and MOT are all payable in November every year and it kills me when I have to pay for it all at once just before Christmas so this is to take the sting out of it. I'll be grateful to you all for the inspiration in around 11 months time!

Morning all - just checking in to say I have been squirelling away any loose change into my pot... I haven't counted it but there has been a distinct lack of £1 and £2 coins. I may try and improve this over the next few weeks

Hi all glad your feeling better Sue . missed posting yesterday coz after work had to take DD to the walk in then A&E. Shes been skiin in Fance with the school and on sat came off her skis and bumped her head . late on the same day she got her skis stuck came out of them then bumped head but was goin so fast she ended up flipping and landed on her feet. Teacher checked and she seemed ok. wasnt well sun but we just thought she was tired stayed off mon . Doc said mild concussion and has picked up a virus.boo . plus side will be fine just got a headache yeah. anyway potted £3 yeaterday and £2 today. Dear friends funeral today so not a good day for us. had to laugh at this. i dont wear nail varnish unless on a night out and most of the time i dont have a handbag etc (not very girly).
