Well done Footiemad, can you tell me how you sold your mobile phones? I have about 5 lying around and would love the little extra money for my pot

Thanks Bebs
I looked up phone recycling on the home page of MSE and went through the list. I picked Envirophone. Its simple really you put in the details of your phone and then it quotes you a price for each one separately. If you like their prices and tick in all the right places including how you would like paying, they send you a jiffy bag and then youpost it back. Confirmations by email. Hop this makes sense. It doesn't take long and is painless. Every little bit helps and you can compare prices with different companies.
Good luck and happy selling for your pot.:D:D;)Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

Just got £73.99 from cashinmyphone with £2.50 via Quidco.
Don't sell them all in one go, just sell them 1 at a time to get the cashback each time
Gutted Sparky
Sold all mine before I discovered cashback.... That will teach me not to lurk in the right places and take so long to get back on MSE.. it wont get me again....Any old phones anyone!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::cool:Footiemad:footie: 2013 - SPC no.1147...Keeep potting!!

It's good to have you with us tipsymcstagger. A warm welcome to the thread, have fun saving.
You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. NB. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much. NB. Pots are emptied on 1st December 2011, thank you.
Good to see you, tipsymcstagger. Though why the pic of an embarrassed smilie, it should be a happy one on joining us, at least a
Good to have you aboard.
You've got it all worked out to a T, scuba, but I agree you certainly need to sort out your contents insurance, most important. Hubby and I love photography and that alone without all sorts of other necessaries and much-loved treasures need insuring. Get it to the top of the list as soon as you're settled in. I wish you both well - with a good move, swiftly done as possible.
I see there's more talk about our f.f.f.friends the bankers this week scuba...I shan't say more than that - but you know me, I bally well could! :silenced:
Good Heavens, LC, going back to work's really taken it's toll on you, rest up after Hatton Garden, but good luck with the gold, that'll perk you up.
Now that's what I call a committed OH, VintageBrat, never let him stop as it's for the good of you both.
Good savings everyone! Sleep well and enjoy tomorrow.

Whilst I had to take money out of the bank this week it's been spent on my daughter's karate and school dinners and fruit for me. Have some little bits of change that can go in the pot but not much. At least I'm still not spending unnecessarily though.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
