found 23p round the house today which has gone in the tin. also a scratch card with a £3 win in my old handbag, will collect that tomorrow and pop in the pot too!

Gonna get started...sticking in some lovely shiny silver coins, equating to one pound and twenty pence of hard English currency.

Just counted up all the cash I have saved already this year (since December) and it already is over £70!!

Have just rescued the 'cheese football' drum from the recycle bin!! Have put £2.00 in which I would have spent on dinner at work had someone not bought 'party leftovers' in - thanks guys for getting me on my way!!

Im back again. I wasnt around much last year due to work so ended up not really doing this challenge although the year before I saved just under £400, which was great.

Im determined not to let it slip as I appreciated the box at christmas so have sealed my barrats shoe box - high tech I know. and have started it off with the contents of my purse at £4.30.

My target is £500 this year.
