  • I would like to join up please, I've just been really disappointed when I found a tin of Cadburys roses and found it was empty (was hoping to stuff my face some more), but have decided that I'm going to use it for my sealed pot challenge. I'm going to get a slot in it somehow, and then super glue the lid on!

    LittleBit

LittleBit, I'm sure you're better off without the chocolates! Your pans for the tins sound good, be careful when making the slit though.

    You're in jjeff...never any need to re-join.

Thanks for that T to S, I'm just naturally [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] curious.

    Sue x

Anyone else wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome and it's never too late.

  • Just made my first deposit in my jar - £1 - it does sound really lonely all on it's own. Hopefully it won't be too long before it has some company. Long way to go to meet target - but we all have to start somewhere and there's no better time than the present.

Good luck everyone on taking this challenge. :)

    Happy New Year everyone!

Been putting the odd few coins in my roses tin the last couple of days - I've been checking all of hubby's coin hideouts!
Tin is starting to rattle a bit now, I don't know how much is in there, I'm going to wait for the surprise next December!

I've decided to start paying cash for everything now rather than using my debit card. It may help me budget better, and also means there'll be more change for the jar!!

I'm planning a serious overhaul of the household finances this year, just waiting for the moment to inform hubby of said plans :rotfl:
96 items decluttered so far in 2013 :)
