  • Have not been on last few days as haven't been out to spend any money. So sorry to hear your of your loss fishcakes x.

Been shopping today in the sales and got some lovely curtains for the lounge. Will be the first lot of curtains we've had in the lounge since we moved in (7 years ago) and were very kindly paid for by the MIL. Now just got to wait for the banks to open so I can put her cheque in to cover it. Didn't spend cash as came home for lunch instead of eating out :A. But have just spied 3p on the side so have nicked it and it's going in the pot!

Hoping for another win at bingo tomorrow so can put some more in :)

  • Hello all

Did a big roast today for us all. Had a really long walk through the fields with DSS2 & the hound. Managed to put a few coins into my pot, but do not anticipate anything else until next week, as I do not intend to visit any shops until then.
Opened a bank account on line this morning which, subject to conditions, pays a £5 monthly reward. Will be putting that into my pot each month, so I am very pleased. Come Friday I will be topping it up with the no work lunch challenge money. I am planning to do a spot of decluttering tomorrow in preparation for the car boot season - my Mum & I do afew each year & we have such a laugh. I am now trying to think of other ways to try to increase my pot contributions - this is more addictive than I thought!
