    Merry Christmas Everyone, hope you all had a lovely day.

    Today is the day to do some sorting out. I had hoped after all my hinting to get a money box or sealed tin for Christmas but I didn't. So plan 'B' was to eat the Celebrations and use that container. It is one of those new plastic 'reuse me!' containers. I cut out the smiley mouth so I can put my coins in, taped the lid to the bottom. I then emptied a hidden vase in to which when I remember I throw in odd bits of change, raided my handbags & purses for a total of £8.86. Then best of all my DH donated his collection of 50p's (you know the ones with the different designs on) all £10.50's worth - never thought he'd part with those!!

    So with £19.36 in change, each coin went into my sealed pot one by one - maybe I shouldn't have sealed it up before putting such a large amount in. :rotfl:

    Of course yesterday & today are NSD's

    Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, we just had a quiet one this year as we've all been poorly. Was still nice tho. Anyhoo i got a bit of money for xmas as did OH and the kids so i've stuck a ilttle bit in my tin and i'll be sticking some of the boys in there tins too.

    Member 1015 reporting for duty, had a lovely christmas day and all I have done so far today is sit on the sofa and chill out and I'm quite enjoying it. Emptied my purse and a total of £16.16 went into the pot - Happy days

    Happy boxing day everyone . Going to SIL soon as it's MIL birthday. Really just wanna doss on the couch though. Be ok once I get goin. Have finally got some home trial stuff so been filling in feedback forms . Start mouthwash 2 morrow . Then in Jan get some bagels. £10 in pot today. Also went for a walk with dh as sadly 1 of our friends passed away this morning very sudden. Only 52 . You never know the minute people so eat drink and be merry.. Hugsx
