My favourite sandwich is peanut butter and beetroot (the already pickled variety in a jar). May sound weird, but try it - delicious! Works with smooth or crunchy pb.0

hi
I brought a jar of peanut butter speacially for this!!!
as long as it is smooth, rub it on your car bumpers, (and anything else that is black). it brings them back to black with a lovely shine!!! but it must be SMOOTH!!!0 -
HI
I brought a jar of SMOOTH peanut butter especially for this!!!
Rub it on to your car bumpers, mirrors anything on the exterior that is black, and it brings it back to black with a lovely shine!! No more faded bumpers!!!
It works a treat, honest!!0 -
This is gorgeous, even people who don't like peanut butter have commented how nice it is.
Sweet Potato stew
Ingredients 4 generous servings!
1 onion, chopped
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
knuckle of freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon hot curry paste
350g sweet potato, peeled and cubed
225 button mushrooms, halved if large
300ml passata
300ml vegetable stock
250g spinach, washed and roughly shredded
2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
4 tablespoons peanut butter
Instructions
1.Heat oil, then fry onion, pepper, ginger and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until beginning to soften
2. Add the paste and fry, stirring constantly for one minute. Then add the potato and mushrooms, stirring for a minute or so to make sure they get well covered in the spice mixture
3. Add the passata and stock. Bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for 15- 20 minutes until the mushrooms and potatoes are tender.
4. Add the spinach and stir in until just wilted.
5. Take a couple of spoons of the liquid from the pan and mix with the peanut butter to soften, then add this mixture to the pan with the coriander. Heat until peanut butter is to same temperature as rest.
6. Serve and enjoy. I like this with rice or couscous.
Freezes well!

'Indonesian' Sauce - great with grilled/BBQ meat
1 tbs Peanut oil
4 tbs peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
3 tbs Worcester Sauce
150ml Tomato ketchup or to personal taste (experiment with less as original amount too much for me!)
Garlic powder
Coconut milk/cows milk to thin (optional)
Heat oil, add peanut butter stir over low heat until browns, take off heat as it will continue to cook. Add remaining ingredients apart from milk and stir (fumes are good for sinus!) Allow to cool slightly before thinning if required.
Best left and reheated so make a load - freezes really well and tastes even better.0 -
