    3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup of peanut butter.

Mix all together and drop spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. You can use a fork to lightly press down and make the criss-cross design also. Bake at 350F/180C/Gas 4 for 7-10 minutes or until done. Makes between 1-2 dozen depending on how big or small you make them. Leave to cool on the baking sheet before removing to the rack.

Oh yummy so many PB recipes in one place. I am going to have to try the Nigella ones, and the cookies and probably all of them. I love PB can you tell. I am off to track down that muffin recipe ...snickers in a muffin. Sounds like a little piece of heaven. I can second the PB on celery, I haven't had it in ages as I am the only one in my house who eats the stuff so rarely buy it now but I had this a lot growing up - I had a thing as a teenager trying to make everything I ate look like a canape, I can recommend marmite sandwiched between two Shreddies as a result:rolleyes: :D:o

Talking of nigella, her snickers muffins involve peanut butter as well IIRC - believe me if your kids dont like them-= Ill have em :D

Where can I get the snickers muffins recipe Lynz? I just looked at Nigella's website and nothing there, buying cookery books is a no, no on the new budget and the local library is pants.

My favourite peanut butter treat is a humble peanut butter & banana sarnie has to be wholemeal bread though, yummy!

stir a spoon full into cooked egg noodles, with or without a splash of coco milk, serve with some simple stir fry veg or anything taking your fancy!

I bought peanut butter fudge from the farmers market, delicious and calorific, don't have a recipe but as fudge is simple this must be too, there must be a recipe out there.

I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Ditto peanut butter on celery above.

Doh! I had a copy of that and sold it on Amazon in my pre MSE days believeing I'd never need it!!! I'll try the local library and hopefully they'll be able to help

This is a tad off topic but re libraries, as part of our spend less lifestyle we decided to not buy books we were going to read only once and last month went to the local library to borrow books for the first time in years. When we got there they hardly had any books, there was a huge ethnic section, a teenage section and a huge childrens section and loads of computers, jigsaw puzzles and £2.99 books to buy!!! So few actual books to borrow if you're not or school age, I was shocked  Is my library rubbish or is this the same everywhere else these days?

Herbaholic - could be where you are, my library is a fantastic place! We have the computers, teen section, childrens sections, reference section, fiction and non-fiction, DVD/CD's/video's to rent and even though they do have some items for sale (cards, pens, posters, a few Key Stage books) the only other items sold are the older loaned items (a bag for £1 - the DVD's and Video's cost a bit more) .

Don't give up on it based on that visit ...

For a small fee you can request they buy books in, or, you can request a particulary book and they will check out the other libraries to order it in for you.

Beware ILL books though (these are InterLibrary Loan) books, because if they end up coming from abroad - one I ordered came from the US - the late fee's can prove astronomical!! I thought I'd lost mine and they were talking £50+ Fortunately I found it in the boys toysbox :o
