Peanut Butter recipes?

I bought a jar of peanut butter for my girls and neither of them like it. Is there anything i can make that will use some of it up. I can't bear to throw anything away since i've been using this site.

Any ideas welcome, sweet or savoury....thank you

(Forgot to say- it is smooth peanut butter)

    Non cook peanut flapjacks...

Melt 1 cup sugar and 1 cup golden syrup in pan, add 1 cup peanut butter and 5 cups porrige oats - spread into a baking tray and cut into squares immediatley (when it cools its a beast to cut!) - freezes wonderfully (if theres any left to freeze!)

Mix a big spoonful with a little hot water or coconut milk and a splash of soy sauce, brush over skewered chicken and put on BBQ.

  • 1 bottle peanut butter
    4 cups rice crispies
    1/2 bottle golden syrup
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    160 grms dairy milk chocolate

Melt peanut butter and add crushed rice crispies and golden syrup. Seperately melt brown sugar and add to the top ingredients. Finally set in a baking tray and spread melted dairy on the top. Cut into squares immediately and leave for a while to set.

It keeps well, so why not have it in sandwiches yourself when you fancy a snack?

I love the stuff and have a butty mid-afternoon nearly every day.

No idea where this recipe comes from but it is really nice, kind of like a Satay but in a casserole.

    Spicy Pork Casserole X4

    2 tbs oil
    14oz cubed pork
    1 onion
    4oz button mushrooms
8oz can pineapple pieces in juice
    4 tbs peanut butter
    1 tbs tomato puree
    1 tbs brown sugar
    1 tbs lime juice
    1-2 tsp chilli powder
    2 tbs soy sauce
    1 green pepper

Preheat oven to Gas 3. Heat oil and add meat and brown. Remove and place in a casserole. Add onions and mushrooms and cook until soft. Mix with meat. Drain pineapple and make juice up to ½ pt with water. Mix peanut butter, puree, sugar, oil, lime, chilli and soy sauce together in a saucepan. Blend in juice. Heat gently to form smooth liquid. Pour over meat. Cook for 1 hour. Add pineapple and pepper and cook for further 30 minutes. Serve with rice or pasta.
