Right done a test today. One that told u results in 3 mins owed on stick then negative line came up after3 mins nothing but after 7 mins a reallyfaint lineappeared so not sure. Decided to retest in morning n see what happens what u reckons

Reading a test after the specified time is unreliable. The line could be a positive but a thin line outside the allotted time could also just be an evaporation line. But if your period still hasn't turned up and you still feel pregnant, you just might be! Good luck for tomorrow.

Depends what it says on test, does it say discard and do not read after a certain time limit?

Retest in a few days. I found the supredrug own brand ones really sensitive, maybe try one of those?
  • I'm also sat here on tenterhooks waiting for you to test!

If you are going to re test tormorrow make sure you use first morning urine. The PG hormones will be at their strongest then.

Keeping fingers crossed for you here

The Superdrug ones are pretty sensitive; I got a postive about 3 days before I was due (unfortunately then went on to miscarry but that's for another thread)

Some tests have a valid window of around 10 mins, i found sainsbury's and asda cheapies really good.

Also if the line has a coloured tint, the same as the control line then its a +, if its a colourless line it could be a evaporation line

Just done it again oh I'm so confused. Thus is a Asda cheapo. Got the first line straight away then got a second line within 3 mins its more prominent than the one the other day but still a lot lighter than the first line.

I was always told that it doesn't matter how light the line is...if there is a second line then you are pregnant:j

It may be light as you are quite early on but again I was told, even a faint line is a + as you have the hormone in your system.

You're pregnant. Your hormone levels are just increasing - if you test again in a few days, the line will be solid blue, you'll see. Congratulations!
