Just read back and saw that someone had fainted, that happened to me before I knew aswell. Also hot flushes on and off and was boiling through the night, all that has died down now though
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

  • Yep those were the first signs for me too - feeling really faint and with the last one dizziness as well. I went to jump out of bed one morning and fell over as the room was spinning - I couldn't look up either so hanging out the washing was tricky - thankfully it only lasted a couple of weeks.

A lot of early pregnancy symptoms are similar to pre-menstrual ones. I would suggest you do a test if you want to be sure.

Had you asked me last year I'd have said I knew before my period was due, even when a pregnancy test was negative I was convinced I was (and I was) - then I fell pregnant without trying, I had no idea (did a pregnancy test because my periods had gone wonky and was waiting for my period to arrive to have a coil fitted and figured going and buying a pregnancy test would make my period arrive).

So I do think if you want to be pregnant you'll put anything down to it and 'know'

For no real reason I just knew by about 7dpo but kept talking myself out of it as I'd convinced myself before and been wrong. I had sore boobs, and it was much different to the usual monthly sore nipples, felt like they were bruised all over, also had horrendous amounts of wind, again moreso that my usually monthly bloating. Very wierd vivid dreams and feeling utterly exhausted. Everything was just in the wrong order or more extreme to be my usual monthly symptoms. Nausea took a couple of weeks to really kick in.

Try and hold out to Sunday at the earliest and then test.

First time I started throwing up from three weeks pregnant although didn't know it was caused by pregnancy until I did a test at five weeks. Second time I had nausea from 6dpo and was fairly sure because it felt the same as before.
