  • Hello lovely ladies,

I can't remember the last time I posted on one of these monthly threads.
I am still using up my massive stock slowly but I have been adding to it slowly too.(Which for me is progress)
Going to really try again to use up all I have and be more like a 'normal person' when it comes to toiletries and make up.
It's nice to see a lot of the same people here and the ones that are new to me too.
    xx
  • Evening all, just one UU to report: Cranbery body butter from bodyshop. WIBA? Yes but only if there is a good deal on, can't believe I used to pay £12 for it! I have one more body butter to use but it feels too cold on my skin in the morning and in this weather I need to feel all the heat that I can. I think I'm going to back to making my own body cream mixture of shea butter and coconut oil which sinks nicely into the skin.

Went to the loo this morning and when I was washing my hands I noticed a massive spot on my chin! Nice :). Skin is feeling really dry and sorry for itself today so am going to put some night cream on now and then some more serum before work. The cold and the CH play havoc don't they? I have also woken up with blood all over my fingers and hands. I appear to have been attacked by paper before I went to bed. I expect my hands were so cold from scraping the car that I couldn't feel it- eep!
Must go and moisturise my hands too now, they're sore.
Tara, what're you like? This is why you left in the first place I bet, keeping on adding to stash. Tut Tut. Now go and do your lines!

:o This could be my HG hair product though, I need to know!!! Just ordered, can't wait to get it!

Yes, cold and CH are horrid for skin, yuk!

  • Morning all,

Glad your DH returned safely, Rosemary54, although it sounds rather stressful!

    2 ins to report today:
The Glamour subscription Wella hairset finally arrived in a huge box! They had run out of the volumising set and had sent a colour save set, which had mousse and hairspray instead of the treatment masques :(. But it did have normal conditioner as opposed to leave in, so I'm happy with it. True to form, I immediately broke it open and my highlights now look really bright, although there are more flyaways than normal. Can't have everything though! :)

1 sachet of Clinique laserwear serum from a magazine. Although I'm not of an age for wrinkle cream yet (yay!) Clinique have really been pushing this so I'll give it a go and see if anything exciting happens!

I am intending to buy a hair dye and some cotton balls today, but that should be it for December, fingers crossed! x

    3 UU to report:
    - Decleor Crème Demaquillant 400ml- At long last, obviously WNBA (smell too overpowering, I want it to remove make up not to perfume my face)
    - Dove Supreme Cream Oil Body Wash Sleek Satin 55ml - This was a sample and did not like it - WNBA - Texture is very thick so does not lather very well. I prefer the Nivea Happy Time currently
    - Palmolive Shower Milk with honey 250 ml - Shower gel, WBA only if cheap

I read from somebody who was declaring that she only bought products on sale / coupons etc.. I think this is an interesting concept and keeping tracks of all my INs with prices to see if I can do the same. Difficult with things like cotton buds though should be feasible for pretty much all types of toiletries.

  • Nearly fell off wagon today TWICE. Loaded Argos trolley up before I saw sense and deleted everything. Then loaded up on Body Shop then only stopped ordering when I couldn't get the page to work properly and gave up. Phew. I fear my resolve is weakening and the sales haven;t even started yet

I fell off the wagon though! Did a Body Shop order, the hemp stuff is great and with it being so cold this is when to use it. It last ages and really helps my hands after being outside workimg. I don't feel too bad as 2 hemp sets, free body butter came to £23 as well as TCB! I will put the body butter in a friends Xmas gift so not too much of a spend (sort of)! :rotfl:
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
