i've never tried NARS but after looking at it recently - I'm very tempted!! Might pick it up in NY next week (wow, can't believe it has come around so quickly!) when I go to my long lost favourite store Sephora! How I miss them from the UK!

The orgasm one was the one I was looking at so I'll keep you posted if i buy it :) (but it will be after christmas unless I remember to log on at the hotel - I'm bringing my laptop with me for films and music in case the incessant adverts annoy us or can't find anything on t.v, and we have complementary internet - I'm not being a sadact!)

I opened the shampoo and conditioner I got sent to test (so 2 INS there) and I would say they are about 100ml bottles each, but I don't think they will last until Christmas! It seems like a lot comes out, and they will be very quickly UU IYKWIM.

I also have another IN - a Dove creme bath to test! Quite a few goodies seem to be making their way to me - long may it continue!!

Now i'm off to a big site meeting in Stratford and preparing for a big argument over project accounts - so will be stressed and let's hope I don't "accidently" forget my stop and end up in Oxford Street on the way home :rotfl:

Have a good day ladies x

Wow - your NY trip has crept up a bit hasn't it - bet you can't wait! I used to like Sephora too - there was one at either Lakeside or Bluewater and I got al sorts of useful bits and pieces, the best being a little set of 3 x tiny miniature tweezers - ideal for keeping in a makeup bag or toiletries bag for travelling. No way am I carrying my Tweezerman ones about with me but those mini ones are excellent!

Is your site in Stratford "The" site by any chance? when I was working for Kiers we had a few bits and bobs going on there but thankfully never very much - good job too with all the hassle involved in getting stuff in and out! Hope the meeting goes well anyway, although I'm not certain whether you want me to cross my fingers for you to not miss your stop, or not....! :D

There's possibly going to be an "in" here later if Wilkinsons still have their special offer on bubble baths - I got the Avon SSS one effectively free, but it's a bath & body oil and did leave the bath rather slippy - plus it's not ideal for me to use when I've got my contraceptive patch on or about to be changed as I would worry it would affect the adhesive. Might get a standard bubble bath to use and leave the oil for weeks when I'm "Patch free". Only if I can pick it up for under £1 though! I do have that BS Telegraph voucher to use mind you so might be able to make use of that instead. Hmm.

Enjoy NYC Roshydoshy - shopping heaven though don't think you will be an :A.

Rosemary54 - pleased to hear the tooth is a little better and that you still have it (I have a real fear of losing my teeth!!)

So a UU for me. The source pomagranate and fig shower gel. It was okay and got got it out of home bargains for 99p so would buy again at that price if I was running out. As I am not running out I have opened my lovely S & G clean on me.

I freebie in for me Nivea Q10 body lotion.

I have, and I had a bad reaction which required steroids and two weeks off work. It destroyed my porcelain complexion and caused my rosacea in my opinion. While the redness from the reaction subsided it's never gone away completely and my skin has been sensitized and somewhat red ever since.

This is not to say that the same will happen to you, and many people do use it happily, but until they took them down the QVC reviews were full of people who had had a similar experience.

Sorry to be a doom monger, but I'd feel bad if I didn't say. :o

P.S. Glad your tooth is better Rosemary!

P.P.S. I've never been to a Sephora. (or "Heaven" as I like to think of it.) :D

Thanks Roshydoshy! I look forward to hearing how you get on. :) Hope you have an amazing time in NY - I bet it's fab just before Xmas.

One UU for me: Aveeno Creamy Oil. This is currently my fave body lotion (except Bliss Sage + Lemon). It has a light almond scent and spreads really nicely. It isn't hugely moisturising though in this weather. I've just opened an Aveeno skin relief lotion and will see how it compares.

I'm anticipating a rash of UUs soon, and I think my stash will soon be empty, ready for the Jan sales! :D

Spent £35.28 on toothpaste and mouthwash last night on a special offer. That's 6 of each, so should last me ages.

What a lot of money for such small things! Why can't I use the normal stuff?

I think I may be on roll, cut the end off an Avon hand cream to use the dregs and can't believe there must be about 1/3 tube still in it!
I did this tyhe other week with a moisturiser and found a similar amount, what a lot I must have wasted previously!
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time
