  • Hello!

Ouch, hope it goes alright, Rosemary! I'm currently munching on some sugar coated sweets and you've made me think twice... :)

    2 UUs for me:
Decleor Aromessessence oil Rose d'Orient 1ml. WIBA? Hmm, this Decleor sample set has made me a bit uncertain. When I started using it, I really didn't like the cleansing water, liked the night balm and was so-so about the aromessence oil and cream. None of the products smell like rose, as I was expecting. Instead, they just smell 'herbal' which is quite disappointing, and I did rather cynically suspect that its because rose oil would be the most expensive ingredient. The products are also not that great to use - the oil has no 'slip' to it so you can't easily rub it in, and it hasn't cleared up the dry patches on my cheeks from the cold. BUT... it has made my skin less red, and after the first few days of using the set, my skin looked so much better than usual. Now I don't really notice, as I can't really remember what it looked like before! So, overall, I'm not sure whether I would buy again. Will try some other samples first I think, particularly the Clinique moisturiser.

Also, dental floss. Can't believe I've finally run out of it - I had a huge stash before this.

Also, quick question for anyone out there: is dandelion blush better/as good as Nars orgasm blush? I'd like to get one of them after hearing good things about them, but not sure which - Nars would definitely be harder to get hold of. (I am genuinely running out of blusher!). :D
  • Good luck at the dentist Rosemary!

A UU Crabtree and Evelyn A La Source handcream - WIBA well it was a magazine freebie but yes and I have got a tube in the crabtree glitch a few weeks ago! Made my hands lovely and soft and smelled gorgeous!

I have given the Pantene Aqua Sh*te to my girls to UU as my hair was getting frizzier by the day, I think this shampoo is not designed for colour treated hair. I am now using the new Dove volumising shampoo and conditioner and my hair feels normal again!

I have also UU a BS white musk perfume, I love this stuff but think it no longer loves me. I have come out in a spotty rash over my neck and decolletage (sp?) but am not sure if its this or an Avon Coconut showergel thats caused it so I have stopped using that for the time being to see!
  • Hope all is well with your tooth, Rosemary, it sounds a nightmare.

What a manic time December is, I feel as though I'm all over the place at the moment! At last I've found 5 mins to post my UU's from the last few days.

Trevor Sorbie Volume Mousse 50 ml. WIBA? Yes, this is one of my favourite mousses.

Ted Baker Bodywear Body Wash. WIBA? No. I've had this for ages and was looking forward to using it but it turned out to be nothing special. I've just started to use No 7 Bliss body wash and I'm finding it much more luxurious.

Femme by Hugo Boss sample perfume. WIBA? No, I'm not a fan. It was pleasant enough to use at work and one day someone did comment that I smelled nice but there are other perfumes I prefer.

Right, must go and catch up on reading all your posts.

i second google shopping - it saves me a FORTUNE.

Go onto www.google.co.uk and search for shopping - it should bring up the link for Google shopping, click on this and when loaded it should look slightly different from normal Google IYSWIM.
Enter 'dandelion benefit' or a variant and then click search; if you then choose from the drop down menu to list in order of price low to high, you may spot a bargain - just be aware of eBay as there may be some counterfeit sellers out there, and if you find a cheaper cosmetics site, check out the cashback sites (quidco or topcashback) to see if you can save even more!
Also check out the grabbit board by a general search and discount threads....

    http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=benefit+dandelion&scoring=p&cat=2571&lnk=catsugg&ei=niP-TNm2O5Tg2gSH-InqCA&sa=X&ved=0CDoQhggoAA

...sorry for boring everyone and sorry if I was preaching to the converted - if I save one person a couple of pennies then it is more than worth it :) x

Thanks for the tips on Google shopping - I will have to give that a go :).

i've never tried NARS but after looking at it recently - I'm very tempted!! Might pick it up in NY next week (wow, can't believe it has come around so quickly!) when I go to my long lost favourite store Sephora! How I miss them from the UK!

The orgasm one was the one I was looking at so I'll keep you posted if i buy it :) (but it will be after christmas unless I remember to log on at the hotel - I'm bringing my laptop with me for films and music in case the incessant adverts annoy us or can't find anything on t.v, and we have complementary internet - I'm not being a sadact!)

I opened the shampoo and conditioner I got sent to test (so 2 INS there) and I would say they are about 100ml bottles each, but I don't think they will last until Christmas! It seems like a lot comes out, and they will be very quickly UU IYKWIM.

I also have another IN - a Dove creme bath to test! Quite a few goodies seem to be making their way to me - long may it continue!!

Now i'm off to a big site meeting in Stratford and preparing for a big argument over project accounts - so will be stressed and let's hope I don't "accidently" forget my stop and end up in Oxford Street on the way home :rotfl:

Have a good day ladies x

No problems - people may have better alternatives, but I do find it is a very handy (and relatively unknown!) shopping tool! :) x

thanks for all the good wishes, the dentist said he couldn'tunderstand a samll filling causing such probs!
anyway he took it out(the filling not the tooth!) cleaned it and put 2 lots of stuff in to calm it down as a tamp filling so I have to go back again next wed:(He said it might sting a bit which is good as it shows it is working.

sting?????it was very very painful and kept me awake half the night:mad::eek::mad::eek::mad::eek:
was going to have a lie in but of course OH had to get up early for long drive to Leeds and as I fell asleep the postie came with a parcel......from Occitane with the goodies I ordered a few days ago, some nice treats for me and a few pressies too.

sun out today and slightly warmer so may stir myself and go for a swim/sauna as tooth is a bit better thank goodness:)
  • So pleased to announce a u/u. (Not getting through so many these days.)

Boots Time Delay Radiance Booster. Used instead of moisturiser under foundation. WIBA? No. Couldn't see any difference in my skin and only bought it to use up a Boots voucher.
