Where's my Tesco shopping!?!?!?!?

So I ordered my shopping online from Tesco for delivery between 6 and 8pm this evening, no sign of it! I tried calling customer services and I just keep getting the engaged tone.

So I decided to check online to see if there were any messages regarding my delivery on there, well on there it said delivered! I'm now not sure what to do. I can't get through to any of the contact numbers and I am without my shopping..... can some give me some advice?

How's the weather around your area? Any chance of it being delayed by snow or a road closure? x

I'm in Leeds and the roads here are clear, not had any snow this afternoon/evening. It's very annoying especially with it stating delivered online! I have finally managed to get myself in a twenty minute queue let's see what happens here.....

Wouldn't be surprised if it's been delivered......to someone else.

About 8 / 10 of my Tesco orders I'm missing a bag, or have been give someone else's bag in addition to my own

I'm in that mood today, if it has been delivered to someone else I shall be kicking up a fuss I tell you. All my stresses from work will be vented to whoever answers this phone!

I have never had any problems with Tesco before but, if their delivery drivers are unable to identify a house number I think it's time to shop somewhere else!

Everytime the message on the phone comes on I feel myself getting more and more annoyed!

Oh this isn't sounding good for you hope it turns up! Just thought to myself that if the driver was delayed he should have your number to phone and let you know, so it's either gone to the wrong place or you have an inconsiderate driver who hasn't thought to keep you updated! Either way, not great!

It's not is it..... we shall soon find out! Tesco delivery on a regular basis to people in our building. If someone has pinched it I will track them down. Strange thing I called my bank and nothing is pending on leaving my bank from Tesco...... this just confused me even more!

Having said that I do sympathise with you, I once has a Tesco order not delivered. 2 hours and 20 minutes after the time the CS rang me and said

"The driver has just returned and said he can't deliver to you because there is a gate between the road and your door"

I can't say exactly what I said, the system turns most of the words into !!!!!!!, but it was along the lines of "It's a gate, and the catch is broken, all you have to do is give it a push and it opens"

I got my shopping about 45 minutes later, but never found out how the driver was smart enough to pass his driving test but not smart enough to open a gate.

Well thats what they told me when my delivery was 2 hours late and I assumed it had been delivered to a wrong address only to find out that the driver was just delayed. Seems silly saying delivered when it hasnt been.

th system is probably automated to show delivered when it passes the slot, if the items are scanned as on delivery
