I have put my £1 orange sim in my unlocked phone and registed sucessfully but when I ring for my credit balance I only have 1p, I thought it was suppose to have £1 on it , so I presume that I have to top up with £10 to get the £1 activated or can I do it with just a fiver?

Not to be over critical but this is being worded by Martin as being very straight forward with no issues heard of, yet it seems that it's not actually working pretty much at all for those with this free sim.

you dont get the text straight away, i used to get the code a few minutes after id sent the text but obviously as more people started to use it the code took longer to reach me,

If I went with the wife and 2 kids with 2 orange phones and codes , could I give a phone to one of the kids to buy a ticket and the other kid goes free and then I buy a ticket and the Mrs goes free. So I just buy one adult and one child ticket ?
    Thanks

edit , Ive answered my own question, lady at box office said yes but added shes not really supposed to ............now how do I thank myself?
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

I got my free sim today and plan to topup with £10 since they are offering £5 free :) Can you please let me know when is the best time to send the text message? Does this have to be sent on a wednesday? Or could I call 241 on tuesday to get the code to be used for Wednesday?
Lastly, does this also apply for tickets booked in advance? Plan to book it for the batman movie :)

  • Anyone who lives near Star City Vue Cinemas,
this is a brilliant way to watch a Gold Class movie. ;)

If you wanted to watch a film before 4pm in Gold Class it is half the normal price £8 (normally £16), but if you have a Orange Wednesday's code you get two tickets for the price of one, brilliant eh? it gets better you also get free popcorn in Goldclass so fill up ur drinks bottle and get on over there and enjoy the big recliner leather seats, free popcorn and drinks tables etc that Gold Class has to offer all for £8 for two people!!!

My wife and child are interested in watching kungfu panda on wednesday. Can someone confirm if my wife buys a ticket for my daughter then she can tag along for free by showing the code from orange?

Also, when is the best time to call orange? Does it have to be a wednesday or can I call on a monday or tuesday? Lastly, if I do have a code can I book a ticket for a movie releasing 3 weeks later (batman :))

Too many questions I know, hoping some kind mse will take time to answer some newbie questions :)

    Hi Everyone,

    I hope someone can help..

I had an old orange sim lying around - so I have registered it, and topped up by £5...

I text 241 last night to get the cinema offer, and I also called it this morning as I still hadn't received a text!. Anyhow - I still haven't received a text and I am wondering if I have done something wrong?. Or whether these texts take a long time to come thru.... ??? 4 hours ? 8 hours ? Days?

Any experience shared would be appreciated.

    Thanks x

Can you book your seats online with odeon on this deal?

Gonna see batman this wed but i guess it's going to be busy with all the other orange users!

HoneyPie - my friend sent the text and got a text back a couple mins later.

Hi there, on Martins article it said that if you buy a months film pass for £11 you can use the orange wednesday offer with this, does anyone know if this works with the years film pass as my friends just bought one and we used to do orange wednesday?
