Bag 2 for 1 at Odeon on Wednesday's without an Orange phone

Humm.. that gets me thinking.

If I get two of the SIM cards...

And say I have 2 kids and a partner.

If you use one sim to get a child ticket free (as they give you the cheaper ticket free) and your partner is behind you in the queue and uses the second SIM to get the other child free too....

Does that mean that technically you can take the kids to see a film on Wednesdays for free? by buying two adult tickets?

Or could you just present both phones at the booth at some point on Wednesday, get the two sets of tickets in advance and then turn up later with the family and walk straight in?

I was told today by Orange CC over the phone that the 241 SMS ticket only gets sent to you if you call or text 241 on Monday or Tuesday.... but not on Wednesday.

Is this true...i have always texted on Wednesday before and got it, but over the one month on tickets...although i use well over the £5 a month

I have an Unlimited Card with Cineworld and have always used it with my Orange Wednesday code, absolutly no problem. Have been doing this since September and nobody has queried it.

Even thinking about getting another orange card to see two films back to back for free!!!!!!!!!

In answer to another question.... I do not pay for my text ticket either, I call 241, listen to message, press 1, and my text ticket is sent to me for free (instead of paying 35p). sometimes it comes straight away, sometimes have to wait an hour or so. Cottoned on to this when i USED to text for tickets at 35p a time...to get 5 messages back saying I was only entitled to ONE ticket...not five. This was due to the slowness of my ticket coming through. Also if there is not enough credit on it they wont send me a text tix

Bizaree. they shouldnt have refused you entry...unless it wasnt valid at the time you done it. it works now tho. you should have asked to speak to a manager there and then. Stump!!

I work at cineworld and you definatly can use the unlimited card with the orange code for 2 free tickets- the unlimited card being the one that 'costs'
But, I don't know if this is official or just what people put through- the till doesn't stop you putting through the dearer ticket for free because you dont have to specify what type of ticket it is- could just get you in trouble!

Any questions about orange wednesdays at cineworld (dont know odeon/vue etc) I will try and answer as best I can
