Happy Christmas everyone! The Nargle has done it - target achieved! 10 NSDs are all mine! Kipper pate anybody?

Am about to inform OH and DS that I am on strike for the rest of the day so if anyone wants anything to eat and drink they can jolly well get it themselves! I am so stuffed with pork and pheasant, Christmas pud and brandy butter, coffee and mints that I don't want to think about food for a fortnight. Oh, go on then, pass us a Pringle....

  • A nsd for me, despite running out of teabags. Got my daughter to bring some on her way over. Grandkids have had a great day, I'm stuffed and I'm off to sit in the jacuzzi with a glass of cava and a bowl of quality street.

Evening all - and a belated Merry Christmas - I can't believe that's Boxing Day already - all that build up and it's all over in 24rs, feel a little sad actually....still, there's the Jan sales to look forward to :j (not very MSE I know :o)

Well we'll be eating left overs for a week I think - seemed to cook for thirty not three - whoops! Santa was very good to me (I must have been a good girl all year ;)) though might have gone on overkill on the pj front (3 pairs :rotfl:)

All in all a lovely day - oh, and Santa also bought be NSD #10 so there's a chance I'll make my target this month by the skin of my teeth.

Christmas Day wasn't quite the day I'd planned / expected (apart from the fact I finally managed my first NSD of the week.... must update my s/sheet with my spends since Monday!)

Up until a few weeks ago my plan had been to spend it alone, with a run in the morning and a good long dog walk in the afternoon.

But then my younger DS (aka the milk monster, who's got through almost 12 pints since arriving last Sunday night!) announced he was coming home for the week so that I wasn't alone for Christmas - and proceeded to stay up until around 6:30am and then stay in bed until 6pm (and when he's here the dog walking is always his job, which I decided not to give him a break from)

So I had my iP0d on most of the day (not even on Christmas music, as I've not got around to putting in on there yet) while doing 'nothing much'.

My day consisted of a short run in the morning, a 'brief visit' from DS at tea-time, a 10 minute phone call from my DD and GDs just before I cooked our meal (I'm going to visit them today when I take my son back to my parents, as my parents and my DD only live a few streets from each other), and a half hour phone call with a chap I've been talking to on-line for a couple of weeks (followed by lots of crazy texts between us)

I've actually enjoyed having a really lazy day - but have to admit the highlight was probably some of the text messages which had me laughing (as he seems to have quite a wicked/twisted sense of humour), so it's probably just as well DS wasn't in the room while that was going on as it avoided any awkward explanations / demands to know who I was texting emoticon_wink.png

    Good morning all!
Boxing Day already! Hooray! I love Boxing Day as I do absolutely nothing!;)

We had a lovely day yesterday, Santa was very good to me!:)
Had nice relaxing morning, then we were off to my sister's in the afternoon. We had a great meal then my sis did a quiz for us, so that was a good laugh! My nieces were in good form, we got introduced to their boyfriends - it was a bit like "Meet the Parents" LOL
Home @ 10, so we had a nice walk with the dog and watched a bit of telly.
Today, I plan to eat leftovers, watch all the stuff I recorded yesterday and read one of my new books - total bliss!

I'm claiming 3 NSDs as no spends on 24th, yesterday or today!

Have a lovely day everyone! :xmassign:
