JintyB, good luck with your appointment.

Honey, best wishes to your dad.

Big hugs to anyone else feeling poorly right now, wrap-up warm.

Claiming my 1st NSD today :T. 1 down, 4 more to go :p. Will be buying an Xmas gift tomorrow for my mum, so NSD will resume the following day :T.

Well done twelvemonths and welcome to the NSD challenge. Sorry I haven't welcomed you officially before but I'm feeling a bit carp this week and haven't been here as much as usual.

Will add you (and your first NSD:D) to the front page later today when I update the totals.

In the meantime, ask away if you need any help/advice/guidance or just a general kick up the bum (we're good at those as well:D:D)

  • Oh Kerri, I so agree with you. I feel the same about dessert, all I know is that we all hate xmas pud and that there's not enough space in the freezer till Friday for even a small cheesecake. I'm dreading going out then. Though I know I need to get the dessert and some bread.:(

Jinty, hope you feel better soon honey. Nothing worse than not feeling good.

If, love the cartoons, they've made me smile every day. No mean feat.

Today may or may not be a nsd, not sure if I can manage it or not. Will update you all later. Have a good one :santa2:

    Good morning lovely NSD-ers:A:A
I'm so sorry I haven't been here much this week, I seem to have acquired Rudolph's nose now but am starting to feel a bit better finally.

Well done to everyone meeting their targets and for loads of NSDs rolling in.

BDINI, agree with what's been said, under the circumstances this month you've done really well, don't be too hard on yourself:A

If, thanks for the daily cartoons, think we all need cheering up at the moment:A

    kerri, kippers at the ready:D

    ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to anyone needing one

I'll be back for a catchup and update later on.

    Take care everyone

  • NSD #7 was yesterday so I reached my sort of bench mark target, unfortunately they weren't all in a row but nevermind. I am on NSD #8 and my target is 15, which means I can only spend on 1 day, which will be the day I go and get some buffet food for new year.

IF - you've been a genius with the cartoons! Really good choices and I appreciate the chuckles!

Spoon - so sorry you're feeling carp too. :rudolf: - I look like this too! Hope you feel better soon! :A

I roused myself a bit and once I'd had a shower and put a bit of slap on I felt a bit better. Decided to leave visiting stepson and family till tomorrow.
So OH and I went to A$da, very early for my last bits and pieces, and then we went for a wee bit of shopping. Bought ourselves a decent warm hat from the outdoorsy type shop. I decided to he££ with the expense! I have many winter hats, but they tend to be "cheap n cheerful" and not up to the job. I'm sick of freezing in these temps so we broke into our savings and splashed out.;) So............it's stripy, made of wool and fleecy lined, toasty!:)

Going to finish my wrapping and then put the marzipan on my Christmas cake. I'll ice it tomorrow.
Other than that I plan to do very little!;)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Hey all

Hope everyone is feeling better :)

Well I have managed another 2 NSD for this month which brings me upto 8 days. So I should easily get to my target as Christmas day is a NSD and hopefully a couple more days after that :)
