    Hi folks,

popping in to say I decided to rearrange my hospital appt. I felt so rubbish with this cold, so I postponed it till January. Didnt think the hospital would thank me for going in with all my germs!;)
Took my big red nose back to bed and stayed there all day!Slept off and on all day.
Feel a good bit better now, so hopefully I've cracked it!

As a result, I've not spent a thing so it's # 15 for me and 2nd target met! Well chuffed!:j

NSD #13 for me today, everyone in the office seems to be feeling a lot more generous and the free food has been flowing all throughout the day! One of my colleagues distracted me from spending too (though she was unaware of this!) by asking me to feed the ducks at lunchtime for her, so I was physically separated from my usual temptations!
    Thank you competition posters!

BDINI - that's a brilliant result considering the stressful time you've had lately.
In fact I think we all do brilliantly, considering all the various demands on our time and energy!:T

Aww thanks Jinty, sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish, fingers crossed you are on the mend x

No NSD for me today, had to pay for a prescription, so drew out the money to give my little bro for xmas & decided to treat myself to a tv paper for xmas (the only time i watch enough TV to justify buying one).

Team breakfast tomorrow as most people break up then for xmas (i don't though... boo!), don't think i've ever worked somewhere where we do as much team eating!!! So looks like Friday for my next one, all i'll be doing is travelling home, & bus ticket is already booked, so surely i can't spend then?????

Evening all! Whoa! How is it that time already? seems like it' been a super busy day (and a spendy one....kippers for me for Xmas dinner I think :o).

Jinty - sorry you're feeling unwell, stay warm and wrapped up. Hope you're better by sat.
BDINI - enjoy your team brekkie tomorrow
IF - love the cartoons - thanks for taking the time to post them

Hugs to everyone else who needs them and well done to some impressive NSD totals coming in this month - i feel put to shame :o

Well, as metioned it was a spend for me today - got the sprouts and veg from Mr Spencer (bags of veg were far more than I prob need but I was past caring at that stage - some people who shop in there are SO RUDE  I nealry dropped dead at the look some old biddy gave me when I enquired that perhaps she could move her shopping trolly a little so I could actually get to the veg it was blocking ) however, I paid with voucher money I had from my birthday so I was ok there.

Also popped into Mr S to try and get dessert for Xmas day...an easy task you might think but a) we're usually too full to comprehend dessert but I feel stingy not buying any b) it's VERY difficult trying to buy something to please everyone when NO ONE will tell you what the do, or even really don't like. I think I'll just get a frozen cheesecake for a couple of £, it will do us, some of the other desserts look lovely but are really far too big and REALLY quite expensive for what they actually are (that lovely Xmas tree shape will be no more as soon as a knife is plunged into it). So, dessert was abandoned, however I did pick up some Mr S 'after eights' for £1, a pot of coconut (slightly addicted to this atm) for £1, AND 5 rolls of wrapping paper all 1/2 price at 99p each - so that's the extra roll I needed for this year AND next year's wrapping paper sorted already :rotfl: Total spend £6.95.

Popped over to see my friend after work this evening and drop of Xmas prezzies to her and her girls, then came home, had dinner and got sent back out by OH to get wine for his colleagues *rolls eyes* .

Well, should be a NSD tomorrow...fingers crossed, those kippers really are getting a bit ponky! :rotfl:

    Good morning everyone!:hello:

Yes, I know it's ridiculously early, but I've been awake most of the night with a bloomin annoying tickly cough! Decided to surrender and come downstairs for a cuppa!:coffee:
Might be a low spend day today, I need B&M and some little stocking fillers for OH. We are also meant to be going to Glasgow to visit stepS and his family. I love seeing the kids ( there are 4) but I'm still feeling a bit carp, so I will see how it goes.

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)
