Moneypenny/CW/Jinty - what a load of gits there are out there! And I thought I had some rough times in my life.....Well done to CW and Jinty who have come through the bad times and are back in the light once more. Moneypenny - this particular git could not possibly be a good dad because good dads do not abuse or undermine their partners in front of the children, and if your DD does not give him his P45 for once and for all then there are going to be two potentially very damaged children growing up....fingers, toes and everything crossed that she will do what is right. One life - your life - live it!0 -

Evening all! Well a spendy day for me I'm afraid.... but then I was expecting that, finally ordered my mum's Xmas present from Amazon (and a little something for my OH but shhhhh don't tell him :shhh:) I also ordered him something else at 1am this morning too. That means that my Xmas shopping is ever so nearly done :j
Went out earlier to get petrol and put some air in my tyres - had to go to 5 different petrol stations to find an air pump that worked which meant me driving round in virtual circles for an hour  Still that's done now.
Added the lights to our xmas tree which I bought yesterday. IMO they are a bit cold looking (they are white LED ones, but give a very blue light) OH thinks they are ok but I'm not so sure so might keep my eyes out for some other ones when I'm out and about. Last of the Xmas cards written too :j:j
Might crack on with some wrapping tonight and really really must clean the bathroom, it's rather grotty and I can't actually recall when i last cleaned it - how bad is that?! :think:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

reporting 2 more nsd yesterday and today having to do small shops just now hope fully be better next week ( cash very low so small shops stops me buying the wrong items) if not theres always next year start from scratch at least i can learn from some of my mistakes i'm still in with a chance of meeting my target
Next year i'm thinking of putting food spends on a shop card so it will be easier to keep track of spends and mrA is cheaper for milk and bread so will stop me shopping at corner shop which if i do this will i still count the days i use it as a spend or just the day i load cash on it ??? i want to be more organised next year and clear as much debt as possible before november so wont be so stressfull2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -

This question comes up a lot, I'm sure some of the others will also offer advise but general, the 'rules' are up to you and depend on what you are trying to achieve. If the idea of putting the shops on a shop card is for you to try and be more organised when doing your food shops, then I would count the use of the card as a spend but not the actual loading of it. That way, you won't be tempted to keep popping back in and out of store for things you prob don't need.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

What a good idea! I have only been food shopping (once a week plus a couple of trips for milk and bread per week) since this time in November.
So I'm on my 8th NSD for december now...0
