Managed to grab another reluctant NSD today, so that makes 3 so far. Going to visit family tomorrow (Dad & Stepmum) and they have a good butcher in their village who does great meat pies, so I have asked Dad to get me a few. Therefore tomorrow will be a spendy day but all in a good cause - stocking up the freezer. But Sunday now is looking good.....how can I possibly spend money doing ironing and having a fight with a joint of beef? And I've worked out that I should hit my target just before Christmas as I have a busy time at work next week with no opportunity to flash the cash or bash the plastic. So I think I should exceed my target this month. However, my old Mum always used to say "You know what Thought did? Followed a muck cart, thought it were a wedding!" SoI'd better not count my chickens before we are out of the woods and the fat lady starts singing.

Today is another spend day as I've had a D/Debit go out of my bank, and I'm off out to meet some Internet friends (from the diet site) on Sunday so that will be a spend day too (bus fare if nothing else, but also hoping P/mark will have some fleecy PJs as I've not managed to find any anywhere else and I got my last ones from there). So I need to stay away from the shops tomorrow - even though there's a slim chance the cake I missed out on the other day will be in reductions, so it's gonna be tough rolleyes2.gif

I was in two P/marks over the past couple of weeks Cheryl and they had loads of fleecy pjs - partically the mix and match tops and bottoms - and (for once) seemed to have plenty of the smaller sizes left too. I got a pair for £4.50 - though when I got them home I realsied they were only fleecy shorts not long bottoms as I'd hoped but at that price I've kept them (love the top, it's purple and says 'shhhh ....sleeping' which sums me up a treat!) and is also like a baggy t-shirt. I hate the tiny camisole tops with the spaghetti straps as they always fall off my teeny shoulders and I get all tangled in them in the night. Word of warning though.....I was in a big store on Monday and OMG the queues were massive (even by PM standards....and they had been out the door at the weekend apparently :eek:)

Thanks :) Not a huge fan of the 'mix and match' thing that seems to have started up as it seems to make a pair of PJs that bit dearer - but sounds like I should find something :T
I got a pair for £4.50 - though when I got them home I realsied they were only fleecy shorts not long bottoms as I'd hoped
Note to self : double check length of bottoms. Need long trews to tuck into my thermal socks ;)

Current PJs are PM fleece ones, but they're 2 (or 3) sizes too big for me and the V neck is causing problems in that it keeps sliding off my shoulders on one side or the other :o

Sounds like fun - NOT !!

Getting 9:30am (which means I have to get up and going on a Sunday!) bus into the city, which is due in at 10:15. Not meeting friends until noon, but have managed to book an appt for an eye check (coming up to 3 years since my last) for 11am. Not sure when PM open, but the bus stop is across the road from there so if they open at 10am I'll try there before I do anything else :)

  • Another NSD for me today, feeling a bit cack so haven't left house all day.

It looks like our snow is melting :j :j

It was rainy today but it's so windy outside, my windows have been rattling!

Hope everyone is well and warm :D
