(Also debating have a browse for some DVD sets I've been hankering after, and seeing what the prices are like on them these days being as I'd still have a significant chunk of my sealed pot money left to treat myself with)
OK, so I've gone about £7 over my sealed pot as of end of October, but this is safely covered as I had £9.44 in staff discount today alone.

I'm in the process of ordering (rrp / price paid)....

    Columb0 - the complete series (£129.99 / £52.97)
    Sherl0ck H0lmes - complete collection (£119.99 or £89.99 depending on which site I look at / £20.97)
    Mids0mer Murders - Troy's Casebook (series 1 thru series 6) (£129.99 / £44.93)
P0irot - the complete collection (£159.99 or £99.99 depending on which site I look at / £48.99 less 2% cashback)
    L@w & Order - the first seasons (£44.99 / £24.49 less 2% cashback)

Hmmmm...... bit of a theme to them I think :rotfl:

    I already own the complete M0rse collection, CSI series 1 & 2, Numb3rs series 1 & 2, NCIS series 1 & 2, the complete Cadfael.......

I've also found a few DVDs for my Dad (one for Christmas, two for his birthday 3 days later), and am dithering between two others for my nephews.

    Good morning all!

Slight rise in temp this morning - it's 1C, positively balmy!

No work today, so I'm going to do a bit of a tidy up and I think I will trudge down to the bus and go into town later. I need some Christmas stuff and if I get it today I can get my wrapping done tomorrow.
Although walking conditions are terrible, it's the thought of being stuck indoors! Potentially a spend day today - will report later!

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    morning everyone

Finding this month difficult. The snow doesnt help...2 weeks of this is too much. Postman cant get up lane!!!!
Feeling a bit down becuase of not being able to get out and go where i want! I sound like a kid!

Cant get to shops so kids walking home from school and have sent a list with them for basics ... fruit, cereal chocolate!!!!!!!
Hubby braves it to work and drops them off nearly an hour early!!!!!!!!!!!
My lane like an ice rink. Had to get a neighbour to pull me and the car out on tuesday....hubby told me DONT GO DOWN THAT LANE TODAY!!!!!
    I didn't listen of course:rotfl:
Had ebay to post so had to get out:)

So in reality...totally sickened ... kids off school few days this week. They were studying so no bother to me and at their age all they need is fed all the time!!!

Hope this thaw comes as promised ....... feel that I need to concentrate on my spending as I have been ordering as much of the internet for Christmas as possible. I am sure you all agree that no matter how you plan there always seems to be something else!

So my aim today is to get organised...get my larder checked .. sort fridge and freezer...make sure I buy only what is really needed.

    Thanks folks for listening

    God bless
