cw18, I'm totally in awe of you. Whatever you do for a living, give it up now and run the country.:j:j:j
Think I'd rather stay where I am thanks - jamming doughnuts and packing bread doesn't kill as many brain cells or make me unpopular with too many people (nor does it take up as many hours of a day) :D

Mind, it doesn't give free holidays (nor bank holidays) either ;)

Still on one NSD at present, had a big spendy day (food and Christmas presents, with the aid of Mr T's doubled-up clubcard vouchers). No choice really as stoopid me switched the windscreen wipers on the other morning and there was a loud crack as one of them hit the iceberg sitting on my windscreen, so had to get a new wiper. And I thought I might as well do the household spendy jobs at the same time so, tomorrow will now be the next NSD. I think. I hope. Watch this space.......and keep yer kippers handy.

    hi all!!

    Well i've 3 NSD's so far :j:j

Would have had four but the darn car decided to break again:mad:
So Monday will definitely be a spend day if the cars fixed.Darn fan belt needs replacing and some of the tensioners need replacing too.

But on the plus side most of the christmas shopping is done, with the help of £50 worth of vouchers and other funds. So me and OH are more than chuffed so far.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend:)

Hello again :D I got called away earlier, then had dinner & watched a bit of catch-up while everyone was here to see things at the same time!

I've got No 2 & providing I only concentrate on this site for the next 2+hrs, I'll be OK for today.

  • Aargh what a week!!!! Been so :mad: that i couldn't even bring myself to post..... the reason for this??? My stepdad (well not legally as he never actually married my mum, but in every other way), has just come back off holiday & announced he has married a teenager in Africa!!!!!!:eek: (yeah, i know it sounds like a plotline from a bad soap)

So have spent most of the week trying to support my mum, who is draining at the best of times & just feel exhausted with it all, oh, & fixing the heating which stopped working, but luckily that was just frozen pipes which seem to be ok now i have lagged them

Have so far managed 2 for December, am quite pleased with that really & the only comfort spend i had was a bottle of wine, so different from the days when i would have bought myself a ton of clothes & stuff to deal with the stress!!

  • NSD #5 for me today, I'm actually wishing that I have somewhere to spend tomorrow, I'm sick of being indoors! But I guess spending less is a good thing.
    Thank you competition posters!
  • Evening all

Well I can declare number 5 for me today as the OH paid for everything today :T and so he should after yesterdays antics.

Had a lovely day out in Boston which was suprising as we normally avoid Boston like the plague but we bought Isobelle a few things for her stocking and we have decided to try and get a cheap break in January which will be great! But he is still in the doghouse somewhat and is on nappy duty and night time duty!!

Hope everyone has had a good NSD day!
