Well I think I can declare today my number 4 NSD as the OH has decided to go football training instead of taking our daughter and I out for the day - less said about this the better as I am still rather livid
Oh well at least I am not spending!

Cheryl, are you offering to feed us all over Xmas when there's no food left in the shops due to the snow.
You're right though, it's a lot more useful than going out buying things you don't need. Well done you for being so organised, that is impressive:TThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Well today was a spendy day although I did very well out of it!! My lovely parents gave me a savings card worth £50!!! Decided to nip into Mr T for a phone top up as I was down to pennies and now have £40 of credit costing me a much more sensible £7
Also popped into b00ts for some n1ght nurse in the hope that I might actually get some sleep tonight and a couple of lip balms to aid my poor cracked lips :rotfl:
So much for my 6 in a row at the start of the month but seeing as I have the unexpected money I will prob have another spendy day on Monday (hopefully not tomorrow though)
What a nice surprise from your parents, wasnt that great! I hope the N1ght Nur$e did her job and you got some sleep!moneypenny2k wrote: »
Got my free scarf from the Telegraph offer this morning, very nice it is too. Also got the free Waitrose choccies as both stores are at Canary Wharf. Spent a tenner in Waitrose though as I got free parking if I spent a tenner (saved me £3.50) and I needed some sausages and a pair of kitchen scales. So definitely not a nsd but a well spent day I think.
That's the sort of spendy day I like - well done!:T

Good morning everyone,
Well I got my groceries yesterday, so I was well chuffed. Cupboards and freezer are stocked up, and I have B&M too, so it's all good.:D
We didnt have anymore snow yesterday, in fact there was a hint of a thaw, but of course the temp plummeted overnight and now it's very icy. It's still very difficult to get out of our estate, OH is better a negotiating the conditions than me. We have an ancient but much loved $aab that OH uses for work - she comes into her own in weather like this!
Today we'll just be sitting tight - again! No spends envisaged!
Have a lovely day everyone:)

What I forgot to add (blaming the mush that is my brain) is that they also took DS off me at lunch time and sent me home to rest, invited me to go back for dinner then kept DS over night
They are really very good to me.
N1ght Nur$e sort of did her job and I was only awake for an hour through the night (as opposed to the 2 hours sleep I got the night before) and although I still feel rubbish (now with the added sore tummy muscles from coughing) I am not quite as miserable as I was yesterday :rotfl:
Still hoping today will be a NSD but then I thought yesterday was going to be aswell so I shall wait until this evening to declare.
Hope everyone is warm, safe and wellEmma

Morning everyone, another NSD for yesterday. Saturday is usually my nipping out for sweets and snacks day

Hoping for another one today as well, but will see how it goes and report back later.
Hope everyone is warm and well, it looks like our snow is melting :j0 -
