Boiler/Heating help please

I had one like this a while ago on the heels of a certain (nameless of course) plc where the house was getting warmish on the top floor and merely tepid downstairs but there was some limited circulation. I found that the airsep was totally clagged up and the bore of the pipe just after the cold feed joins was reduced to no more than a pinhole.
2 powerflushes and a new pump with an enormous bill from said plc hadn't fixed it and they decided that the only soloution was a new boiler! Sorting that pipework out on the Friday evening fix it. I got called back again on the Saturday morning because the householder was then too hot! LoL.
Cheers
This worries me as it's exactly what's happening here, and it needed 2 powerflushes, a pump, an enormous bill and a new boiler!!He who laughs last, thinks slowest0 -
plc hasn't got to fit a new boiler and nor has anyone else - nothing wrong with existing one. User pursuing plc for recovery of some of their costs expended on unecessary work. Don't think they'll win though. This worries me as it's exactly what's happening here, and it needed 2 powerflushes, a pump, an enormous bill and a new boiler!!

Hi, was just coming to update.
Well.... The guy came round, checked the pump and said it was fine, said it was unlikely that there was any blockages anywhere. He balanced the radiators, which does seem to have made a difference, it's certainly hotter. He suggested I replace the room stat as it was clicking on at 12 degrees but it was clearly hotter than that after an hour or so.
I think the fact that it's minus 8 outside and I don't have cavity wall insulation doesn't help. I've rang e-on and they are sending someone round to do insulation at a reduced price, so will leave it until that happens to see if a difference is madeHe who laughs last, thinks slowest0
