Which airport is that? I wasn't aware of any who only have one airline flying to it?Gone ... or have I?0 -
BA management have a back up plan do not worry. Please remember the figures are fairly low. BA have an army of Volunteer Cabin Crew fully trained ready to take over from every other department in the company. Not to mention New Mixed Fleet cabin crew who are not members of the Union plus thousands of cabin crew who will cross the picket line. If I am correct out of 13,000 Cabin Crew only 5,700 odd have voted yes to strike and as we have seen in previous strikes many who voted yes still crossed the picket line and went to work.
I would say there's more chance of another volcano going off than your flights being affected by any strike.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

[British Airways should be left to go bust. They can then fire all the selfish overpaid losers who work for them (or is it Unite...)
They can then reopen under a similar name and hire new staff at vastly lower wages (eg Virgin, Easyjet etc) and cut the revenue to their Unite paymasters[/QUOTE]
Please remember BA is far more than just cabin crew. They employ 40,000 staff. The reason there are so many VCC is that the vast majority of BA employees are fed up with the behavour of a minority of staff. Just be thankfull that cabin crew jobs can be filled by so many other BA staff. If Pilots or engineers go out on strike then there would be something to worry about.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

The sooner BA goes bust the better. The unions need their balls cutting off.
I do not see why anyone books with BA - are you really that surprised that your Easter break is under threat??? I mean seriously it happens all the time - what were you thinking?0 -

Why should BA as a whole suffer because of a minority trying to cause trouble?
I will continue to book with BA, and have every confidence that my travel plans will not be affected.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I do despair at people who scream BA should go bust and why does anyone book with BA. I really do not think these people have ever flown with BA.
I personally would choose BA over any other airline.Feb 2012 Grocery Challenge £200/£4.00

Whilst I don't wish that BA would go bust, I've been avoiding them since they left my Christmas plans in ruins one year and prevented me from getting to my SiLs 40th party.
I fly transatlantic several times a year, and shorthaul within Europe 3-4 times. For the last year I've been using other carriers as BA are quite simply unreliable.
My friend runs her own business, and will have 5-6 trips each to the US, Australia and S Korea each year and is similarly avoiding them. It is just not worth the hassle at the moment.0 -
