    Hi,
I did my switching yesterday and haven't received the tracked verification for either edf or npower! Cookies etc were cleared so I know I did it ok.
I've had my email from npower but not edf yet.
    Worried now.

Was initially interested in this but it works out £80 a year more expensive for me than my current tariff (EON Saveonline 2). Plus there are cancellation charges if you switch before 31/12/11. I know EDF have promised to hold off increases till spring but you can bet there'll be substantial rises on this tariff next year.

I am also on the eon saveonline 2 and have a similar quote for EDF (about £70 per year more expensive)

However £80 topcashback would "cover" the extra cost and £100 welcome bonus would cover exit fees and leave me £40 better off - but of course eon have not promised a price freeze or announced price rises yet and who knows what will happen to EDF prices in March/April? ...

EDF did raise prices in October and ended their then cheapest online deal which is why I switched to Eon.

    Don't worry yet.
Could take another day or two, i switched 3 property's through Topcashback .
They all took a couple of days to appear.
Be good to the young on their way up you might need them on your way down.
  • Switched on Monday and got my confirmation email from EDF but nothing tracked from Quidco after 72 hours.

Have had numerous transactions since with Quidco - all tracked.

Indeed I have hundreds of transactions with Quidco all tracked perfectly until this one. Typical that this one is for £80.

Looks like I will have to raise a query for them to apply manually. Will be the first time i have ever had to do this.

I signed up on the 29th of Novrember at about 9 ish but it never tracked. I sent a query yesterday but had to jump through a few hoops to even be able to do that. I was asked to insert an EDF contract number which is -in the confirmation email, except there wasn't one in the email.

I had to call EDFCS for it, filled it in and sent off my earnings enquiry but this morning it's tracked hurray!

It does take a while I suppose.

Not ok, only tracked because i raised an enquiry and today Quidco emailed to say the reference number was incorrect. Re apply, I have done so in my OH name and this time it's tracked.
  • No problems so far for me,signed up with EDF on the 30/11/10 and used Quidco for the 1st time and it is shown as tracked in my account, also had my email confirmation from EDF,so fingers crossed all goes well and hoping to save about £300 in total, when I add in the welcome bonus and quidco to the energy savings.
The offer on quidco states that its due to end on the 06/12/10.

Mine has tracked OK within 24 hours on Topcashback (I'll keep my fiver a year, thank you Mr Quidco:D)
  • I attempted to sign up but was told after the switch that I was mistaken and offered £25 as a goodwill gesture.
Needlesss to say I was miffed and switched again but now waiting for my direct debits to be returned to my account.
The virgin wine deal looks a devious way to sell more wine - so where are the savings?- we are being played by foreign owners and being ripped off - while it gets colder!
