Tuesday's lists completed!:jLR needed doing as I didn't get to that list last week as I was waylaid by books and bookcases. Which is still not sorted - three radiator high piles left homeless on the floor until I can get another 1, or 2 bookcases. Really fed up about it, as it was a lot of work with, as yet, no "yippee I finished that carp job" reward.

My children love the laughing snowmen! Thanks Toots!

My most productive thing today is, I'm sorry to say, my left nostril. (Apologies to those of you having a late lunch...) It appears that my trip to the City Centre on Friday to pay in a cheque, buy some mince pies with Courvoisier and a box of tea bags with a Christmas Monkey attached resulted in a sneaky little virus coming home with me.

Anyroad, I'll count my blessings that that's the only minor difficulty today and crack on with emptying the bins.

Oh, and things weren't too bad when I got home: I think I washed every plate in the flat, as well as every tea spoon. Poorly heads all round, though. That'll be the one dodgy half out of the several pints quaffed over the weekend then:D

    Hi all.

Very late lunch break and a catch up with Fred for me; dusting is a major operation, as I'm trying to make sure to eliminate the woodworking dust from the allotted rooms this week, which for the lounge and hall means quite a bit of clambering onto the stepstool. Carefully, I hasten to add.;)

Pollybear so sorry to hear of your Doggie's departure for the Summerlands. (((HUG))) While she lives on in your heart, she'll never be truly gone from you.

Froddy I'll look forward to the photo update, when you get chance – thanks!

Toots I see that Dusty's given a good link to the RSPB; my Robin visitor likes the wild bird food mix – I put a little on the ground as well as filling up the feeders. I also chuck any kitchen bits on the patio – crumbs, oddments of suet (I have the veggie sort, but they seem to like it OK), a few porridge oats etc, and he comes and has some of that. If I'm doing pastry, I always cook the leftover oddment and crumble it up for the birds. Years ago, my grandmother had a Robin visiting regularly, and he used to come onto the back doorstep and partake of half a Malted Milk biscuit, crumbled up. It got to a stage where if she was late, he'd come and peer in the glass in the bottom half of the door!

pollybear I am sorry about your dog. Hugs

Dh and DB have gone on a road trip (250 miles)to bring DS1 home from uni as he is not well. He still hasn't slept since the incident in September. I think he needs some counselling. So any good vibes prayers etc would be very welcome.

I am not sure how close to home they will be able to get before they have to abandon the car and walk. We have had even more snow during the day than we had last night.

I started on Master bedroom last night as I had to do something easy to take my mind off DS1. So when it comes around I wan't have a lot to do.
