MAKE SURE IF YOU HAVE AN OUTSIDE TAP IT IS OPEN AND EMPTIED WITH THE SUPPLY CLOSED OFF - MY MOTHERS BURST YESTERDAY

Going around making a list to renew household insurance. It is amazing how it adds up. 8 out of 10 people are under insured and it affects you if you need to make a claim - if you are under insured they can downgrade any claim. So if you are bored stuck at home in the snow that is a good job to get on with, making a list and checking it twice.

Just checking in. Really chuffed. Actually managed down to Tesco earlier. It's the first time since I caught this bug two weeks ago that I've been able to. I am feeling more human again!!!

Clear and vacuum floors and sofas!

[STRIKE]Wipe and water plants
De-fingerprint glass, screens, windows etc
Clear and wipe firesurround

Write up your list of preparations for christmas that stil need doing!.. presents, wrapping, cards, etc
Sort coats and bags and shoes and hats and scarves and glubs and wellies.. - in the wardrobe in the office
MAKE CERTAIN THAT CAR EMERGENCY KIT IS READIED AND SORTED!!!- already done
Check smoke alarms - new

Laundry - 1 load now in TD

Then just as I was going to "submit reply" the bla5ted internet went off.
So whilst I was waiting for the computer to restart I hoovered all downstairs! :rotfl:

Anyhoo - here goes

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining room
Level One
Declutter and mop/vacuum floor
Clear and wipe work surfaces
Level Two
Wipe units and large appliances
Give one small appliance a good clean!
Wipe out the fridge and defrost freezer
Level Three
Wipe the table, replace the cloth if needed and dust and deweb!
Shine any steel/aluminium. (dab of oil on a dry mf cloth works wonders)
Clean through a cupboard

Lil Miss Valli is about to make chocolate brownies while DS has gone to play in the snow (having announced his engagement on facebook which has, apparently, been believed by some of the family:rotfl:)

No hotspots in living room now! Also tackled one hotspot in RoD. Nipped out into town to use up the last Bxxts voucher. Also tried to get a magazine voucher used up in Mr S - only to find that it was only valid at a different shop Think I need to get eyes tested again. WM x 2 done. S&S and hoovered right through. Pile of Xmas pressies/cards stacked by the front door ready to deliver (still got lots to do, but it's a start and today's task made me feel more organised). Need to do HHE as it's too snowy to go out again for a walk - although I should post birthday card to brother.
