Have you emailed them?

I emailed them the other day and I had a reply asking me to reply to their email with the order number and the title UNDELIVERED if I had still not received it, which I did on friday,and it was delivered today which is unusual to get a delivery on a sunday.

yeah i emailed them on friday and havent had any response yet. will give them a phone tomorrow morning though to see what they can find out for me

my order is 'out for delivery' for second time with hermes, lets hope they mean it this time. i'm not happy with the delay chesterfield isnt on their affected areas list and we've been snow free for several days now. my m&s hamper came via dhl today.

Edit: my chocs have just arrived hurrah!!!!!

mine have now been out for delivery since 10th. I called thorntons yesterday after recieving such an insulting email back from them. They said it says they are out for delivery so there is nothing we can do. Yeah there are delivery problems but not for this bloody long. Anyone else still waiting for theres? Im not sure how long to give them anymore or what else i can do really?
Ive had a parcel come from Norway quicker than they have delivered and their snow is mega bad just now

I sympathise, but, to be fair, what can they do if it's stuck in the delivery system?

You mentioned that the email was insulting. It wasn't from 'Dan' was it, by any chance?

I know there is backlogs etc but i have had a delivery from hermes for another parcel only bought last week and he said they were only a couple days behind but didnt have my thorntons one. Hopefully will just be in limbo somewhere and will come soon.

nah the email was from nasir i think, basically said you ordered with us on this date and your order hasnt come it is with the delivery company and you can track it here, and gave me the link.
Im not too sure they actually read my email as he didnt seem to answer any questions i asked.

will still be a bargain when i get them though! :-)
