The weather has been pretty bad here but I feel a bit cheated out of my money, should have just gone for free delivery and not been so impatient! Do you think it would be too cheeky of me to contact Thorntons and ask for my Next Day Delivery money to be refunded? x

That's good, so will I then -I just didn't want to be the only one. Like I said, the weather's been quite bad here snow-wise, but if they couldn't make it through to me yesterday a courtesy phone call/email to let me know wouldn't have gone amiss - I wouldn't have minded waiting if they'd let me know what was happening.
It's now 7:30pm so highly unlikely it'll arrive tonight, meaning that the 'next-day' delivery I payed £2 for the privilege of, has actually turned into 3 days!0 -
Most companies don't count the day you order unless it's before a certain time, although I would have expected them today if on next day delivery, so either way you're entitled to a refund of that charge.Fog on The Tyne isn't mine all mine... but if I wanted it, I'd want it with a discount code.0
