Absolutely, on all counts - best offers, complaints on fair trading, big duvets, the lot - its very cold here, around freezing I think - this double glazing isn't really that good, but not as bad as LT's .... hope you can concentrate on the work you're doing, Pippi.

    Hi All
Glad to hear all this fighting talk on Pippi's behalf, perhaps you could tell the bank that you will give your 'weird scary' friends their address.
Arbour leaning more by the day but I've found a bit piece of rope and i'm hoping to tie it to the concrete fence post until the weather improves.
My annoyance for the day is that I ordered 2 Audio cd's for my 81 year old partially sighted Dad for Xmas. One came , no problem. The other arrived today, the order form confirms 'death dance' by Linda Fairstein, What I've got is 'El Secreto, Spanish language edition'. And it came from USA( I didn't notice that bit when I ordered).
Just sent email via Amazon emphasising that poor old Dad won't be having a merry Xmas unless they act pronto! I have got him someother stuff but!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Try and keep warm and safe all.
  • Wot they said :) x
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

maybe your grandad has had a secret life and know's Spanish? it's annoying when these things don't go right isn't. I'd best check that the CD in my cases from Amazon are what they say they are.
Got home to the living room being 11 deg. it's now at 14 but there's still room for improvement. Man's coming round tomorrow to sort out the order for the windows. :) can't come soon enough if you ask me!

    Blimey lt

Our kitchen is at 15 but I hope your lving rooms warmed up a bit!

Had tea - not much else to report - going to get sorted for tomorrow (got to go in) and tidy up a bit more.

Harvested the last of the chillis then touched my nose stupid, stupid, stupid girl.

Mixed up more washing powder (non posh with posh) thismonth we're having fairy with sainsbugs value - all mixed up LT you always make me feel like a drug dealer when I'm cutting my washing powder together - not intentionally I'm sure, but I do!

ETA its -3 - how exciting! It never gets very cold here!

I walked past the library on the way to work this morning and there were 8 large geese hanging round outside the door like a flock of sparrows :rotfl: Everyone was having to squeeze up against the wall to get past them :rotfl:

If you kick them, they shift...
