    Oh yes Cheery it is really good and you should put your pictures on there. If you do PM me your details and I will add you to my watchlist. If you are on facebook you can also link it there so friends and family can see any new pictures that you put up. I love it.

    Car, um yup bit of an impluse buy - lifes short, he can afford it - so he went for it.

    Might look quite a bit like..............:DTHAT:D a Jaguar XK8 only slightly different colour.

    OH very very very very happy.

    He says he now needs a pair of elbow patches (sewn onto his hoody or maybe for his ripped jeans?) and a jeremy clarkson hair cut.

    It's mainly due to his dad I think, he always wanted one, so in his own way its his way of living for today in memory of his dad :A

    But, I'm sure he'll have fun driving it.

    Cheri the frog thing made me giggle - looked at blog - (quickly) ace!!! Well done you, I am also a lass from a very poor, hard, industrial town of factories, jute making, jam and journalism. Never knew islands or living in the country existed when I was living there - what a different life we end up with - well done to you!

    Well done to him for going for the car. He will love driving it. Is he bringing it across on the ferry too? Oooo you could go for a drive in it in your posh frock and purple wellies. That would be such good fun to do.
    It is rather lovely isnt it? Still I would prefer a campervan or landrover myself but still like to oggle!

    Yay to all of that - finally a car posh enough for my new wellies - hadn't thought of that! Best not get it muddy though :eek:

    He assures me the next one will be a car together, which will be a landy or something similar. He's only thinking of keeping this one for a year or two summers max.

    And good for him. I always loved MGs from being a little girl, just didnt know it but I used to always say I like that car, my ex OH pointed out one day that I was always liking MGs from the classics to the new. Once he planted that seed I decided that the next time he wanted to change the car (I usually paid for the cars even though I never drove them) that I would only agree if we had an MG. It worked we got a lovely one. Kept it 12 months and then sold it. Sometimes in life you just have to satisfy your desires if only for a short time.

    Pippi, just popping by to say that has to be about the best precis of a thesis I've ever seen. Loved it. Glad the end of the tunnel is nearer.
