You lucky thing, I love long days, remember trying to stay up all night in Sweden a couple of years ago and eventually calling it a night (well, it was still day, lol) about 3:30am.....more aquavit was obviously needed!
Wow! That's a fab nutshell of your thesis, wish I could be that concise when explaining concepts. I'm so flowery, love my adjectives (hence the literature degree, and finding it hard at the start of my science GCSE course this year as I wanted to explain things - now I'm the queen of the bullet point!)0 -
Glad you like the card Pippi. I am a member on redbubble which is a site where you can post pictures/writing/art etc. You can join groups and post your art to them which in turn allows you to join competitions etc. You can also sell your art in the form of un/framed pictures, canvas, cards and you can even design t-shirts to sell. I am not really good enough to sell and I dont promote myself but I do like to buy my own prints as cards and use them rather than shop bought cards for friends and family. Why dont you take a look and put some of your photos on there when you get time. You can link it to your blog if you wanted to promote it for sales. I bet some of your pictures would make fab cards and I would buy them I am sure. I also buy my friends art (ecoalf) who lives in Mexico. He takes awesome Whale photos in the wild. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Thank you cheri and KK. Cheri - I'll get that site bookmarked later - its a lovely idea - far more personal! Thank you - you always have such lovely suggestions.
And I've seen your photos - you're more than good enough to sell, if you'd want too. Hope the new house is going OK - did I read you need frogs? I take it not real frogs?
Up and work out - crack on today - really want to make huge progress. Its wet and horrible here. Therefore no garden distraction!
Coffee out - need check banks and pay some to cc's. £100 to lloyds cc, only £58 to cap one. But, needed remember I need keep enough for my bit of the rent too over next week. (so put £250 in bank online saver for rent)
£100 of one OD left
£76 of other OD left
Cards now at £1800 capital one (put dentist bill on this, this week)
Lloyds at £643
Car garage didn't have bill ready so he'll send it out - which gives a bit of breathing space - expecting that to be £300ish (eek)
Extra work starts this week and now I'm on the books I can bill it all weekly and they will pay in a couple weeks so should get some of it in June. That will help alot.
Need to reduce literature and get that under 6k
Format headings for sections newly put in
Keep checking and ticking the reference folder box for each ref to make sure its in there (115 in the right folder so far) 345 on my whole online database - therefore as I check sections need to check I have them all in the right folder and add those I don't to get the right bibliography. iyswim.
Get rid of repitition (!) story of my life!
Doc all in one big document - just need make sure it behaves. Word has a way of being a twit when you've a deadline close.
Once finished all that can faff about with a few photos for it.
Write abstract
Revisit introduction its far too long.
Contemplating working here or working at office - no real advantage there aside spending £5 on petrol - but will see if I can focus here. If I get 'in the zone' I'll be OK - ds will likely be asleep for hours yet. Peedie also not up!
Hope you're all upto something fun today! A friend at work said I hope you're doing something for fun this weekend - so I wrote a blog and I'm on here

No problem Pippi,
House in Austria.............. hopefully have more to tell soon. Keeping a lid on it at the moment or I would become boring:) Might be starting a new blog. Not decided yet.
Frogs - yes I had a few frogs to eat (ie doing something that you dont like to do)
Good luck with the writing/editing today. Put on some nice motivational music, lock the door, put the alarm on your phone for every 90 minutes - stop for 15 minutes then right back at it again. Not long before FREEDOM calls now. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Pippi, good luck with the work - I hope you *can* do it from home, a fiver in petrol is just that, a fiver, plus the extra time getting ready. Glad to see your light's out on here - and its a good idea of cheri's to do the 90 / 15 thing, those are good proportions, when I'm properly working I might well do that myself.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well done, and even better you're light is still out. Well I have a confession I have actually eaten frog. When I went to France with school we went to a posh french restaurant and had "chicken dinner". Nobody else liked their chicken legs so I ate everybodies much to the amusement of Mr Cassidy my teacher who then told me it was frogs legs (obviously I wasn't veggie then) and I said I didnt care they were still lovely
Have made the decision to start a blog re Austria today and so I have done my first post!!! Not strictly about Austria yet but a starting point anyway. I will still keep my other blog going too for everyday Wales things and keep this one for my plans and forays into Austrian culture.
How exciting about the car, what kind is it? I love cars - still not got one of my own. Decided it might be wise to hang on and get one when I move, back to the idea of a camper van though as it will be much more practical for living in Europe
Right onwards with my list. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
