I'm a Wednesday birthday girl, would you believe I'm going to be 40? No, I know, I don't look a day over 21 I have invited a gazillion kids over to celebrate with cake, it's DD and my tradition that we have a tea party for HER friends on MY birthday!!, bless her, she got some tinsel out this evening and has started decorating the sitting room in her own special way

However, as I'm hoping to pick OH up after school tomorrow, I think I may end up going to the supermarket for cakes rather than baking my own tomorrow night as we've not seen each other since last Wednesday, .......

I may watch the wedding as one of my friends is going with her hubby so I'd like to see her in all her finery! However, I have seen there's a rather good drinking game doing the rounds on FB so may end up doing that instead Shame OH doesn't drink....but I guess I can swig enough for both of us!!

Really looking forward to my birthday now, after my traditional pre-birthday grumpiness this morning which I kept to myself (oh and my poor mother who happened to call me when I was deep in it!)

Oh well, it looks like I'll be in the kitchen baking cakes after all, OH is ill Please send get well soon vibes that he can take me out as planned on Thursday night, we have a big night out in London planned just the two of us.

I'll join you in the pre-birthday grumps Had a conversation with Mr daffs earlier in which he asked 'will you be too disappointed if you only get a couple of small silly presents tomorrow and have a big present later?' (er, does that mean you haven't done anything about my birthday yet, despite having plenty of notice and reminders, and will be running around the charity shops this afternoon for some small things while you spend the next couple of weeks thinking about something else? Yep!) Got home at 7 to find dishes not done, washing not done, shopping from yesterday afternoon still in the middle of the kitchen floor. Had to dash out to booze club, so got back and obviously it's still there because Mr Daffs isn't actually here, and the cleaning fairies obviously don't like me

Ah well, friend at work made me cakes so I'm going to put on some rock n roll, and dance around tidying up for a bit, then lie in the bath Suggest you do the same Kittikins! :T :T

apologies I'm pooped and heading to bed

Very busy day, sent 11 parcels 'sooth' today - containing 2 to 10 plants in each one

Writing then home and a bit of plant sorting out.

Debating whether to list courgettes or not - they are turning into monsters might be better to grow them on here and flog locally..................?

Been asked to quote for another tree planting job - 200 trees (which should have been planted a few weeks ago) am calling them back tomorrow - and thinking about it all. Alot of work, which I can't commit to next month - so we'll see what happens.
