Ooh, lovely Pippi! Shame about the timing though. Is there someone that can give you a hand? Would your DD do it?? Or a student at the college or something? So you could get half the time and half the money, and still keep your hand in?? Nice to know the work's there though longer term, and well done on the ebaying! :T :T

Gosh, don't worry about not posting me anything Pippi, you've got enough on your plate! My own mother texted earlier to say she'd accidentally put a 2nd class stamp on my card so I won't get that on time, so you're in good company! :rotfl:

Well, exciting news, OH is still feeling quite poorly and is in bed, but we just chatted and he's determined that he'll be cycling over tomorrow to join me and the hordes for birthday cakes :):):) I've told him I won't be devastated if he can't make it, as we are DEFINITELY (well, as much as we can) on for Thursday in London. Gotta love that man's dedication to the cause of moi!

I've just finished cooking the cakeys - 2x carrot loaves (one for work), 1x tray of delicious gluten free choccy brownies (cheated and used a great mix), 24x fairy cakes (want to take some to the class I volunteer with at lunchtime tomorrow) and DD has made me 1x chocolate butterfly cake which she is going to decorate for me in the morning and somehow we'll hide it so I don't see its wondrousness til the big moment - she's even "bought" me 4 and 0 shaped candles and has festooned the house with tinsel, it's very kitsch and I LOVE it!!

My lovely friend who makes amazing cakes told me not to make too many cakes, so happy birthday to me!! I should have sufficient for all 20+ people I've randomly invited to have afternoon tea!

Now I know OH is on the mend, it's a thing of his illness that he gets rubbish days and good days, I'm a very happy Kittikins again!

Just need to tidy up the carnage in the kitchen before I can go to bed!!

Pippi - I'd love some courgettes, list them please :)

Lob a couple of cakes this way if you've got spare KK! :T Friend made some lovely jam doughnut cakes (!) today, but I won't have any tomorrow unless I make them myself, which I haven't :o (I guess there's still time! :rotfl:)
