Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, I've had a fantastic time turning 40 :) Ate my body weight in cake, was sung happy birthday in pidgin French by the children I volunteer with and they all loved my cakes, did a bit of work (just a bit, my boss is so kind lol) and had lots of fun with OH and my friends whilst children frolicked around us at our tea party :):)

I've got 3 more celebrations over the next week or so, then I think it'll properly sink in that I'm a grown-up now.......well, maybe!

hope the tummy ache gets better very soon Pippi

I've veer more towards the food than the outdoors but i'm practicing the outdoors bit.

Greying i've also got a load of tomatos to pot on this weekend, along with loads of other plantlets, guess i've got to hope for dry weather so i can sit outside.

  • Thank you guys - a bit flat in the stripey household tonight - hormones I fear and OH not being here tomorrow.

ON the UP side - got a bit of beach action and consoled myself with putting photos in a new blog.

Thus far have 5 things sold on ebay including a rather nifty collection of 5 chillis :) paypal looking nice and plump right now - and a couple of messages about having other plants too now they've got those ones - which is really nice.

Handed in a revised chapter today - worked on references and need finish literature and discussion chapters asap - they want a full draft by mid may - and I'm off most of next week - 'sooth'.

    Eek.

    But, shhhhh

I've just seen the first peek of my draft in progress website, OMG - its gorgeous! I can't actually believe we might be doing this patchworky thingmy in real life quite soon!

    OMG OMG OMG.
