I'm going to go to the tip this morning with all the accumulated rubbish, then I am off to a market to see if I can find a cheapish suitcase for the airlines to wreck on my travels to the US in May, followed by a trip to the supermarket and then a BBQ around at a friends house this evening :D

Tomorrow will be spent doing laundry and then eating the easter eggs that seem to have appeared :T

Have a good one all :)

Well done on becoming a fully fledged "professional" gardener, paid and all!

You have been very busy I hope that you are taking a little bit of time off over Easter.

Exciting stuff pippi :j :j :j Very cheery being paid, well done you, and making your (imaginary) flower target too! :j :j :j

Plan for today (sunny here, sorry :p) is to lie around on the sofa eating bon bons and feeling sorry for myself - bit of a late one last night :rotfl: :rotfl: :D

Well done on getting paid Pippi...and coming in under budget. Your estimating brain cells certainly seem to be working well!! :T

Sorry you have c**p weather...I have decided not to go out in the garden until later, as it's too hot (26 in the shade!!)..I know, I wasn't going to post numbers, but this is rediculous in April! :exclamati

Been sorting out my seeds into old floppy disk wallets. Got all my herb & veg seeds done yesterday, they now have a home in a single lever-arch file...much better than all those ice-cream tubs!! Have them in alpabetical order
too, so much easier to find what I want now! :D

Getting the flower seeds sorted today...had a fit when I couldn't find my RHS ones...lots of phaffing about unearthed them eventually. On the way I have sorted out a few other corners in our cottage. We are bulging at the seams here, so any tidying up really makes a difference! :rotfl:

Have a great day, whatever you do.

    Hi all
Distinctly coolish here today and we had thunder, lightening and rain last night. Pleased to say water found it's way via the new connector into second water butt. All sorts of things have shot up overnight. I think it's dry tomorrow so further assault on the weeds planned.

Well, I can beat your weather Pippi - gorgeous sunshine until a couple of hours ago, then thunder and lightening, and THE most almighty hailstorm I've ever seen  Will post photos - it was utterly ridiculous, I could see the leaves being boshed off the trees right outside the window, and we could barely hear ourselves speak inside! Hardly any blossom left on the trees now, and in some places hardly any leaves either.

Poor little strawberries entirely flattened, and rhubarb leaves riddled with holes where the hailstones have just jabbed straight through  What a palaver!

you can send us some rain down here overnight if you want, the flowers and lottie could do with it, and i could do with the temp dropping so i can get a good nights sleep.

Got a few ebay orders to sort, but thankfully can't post any little plants out til Tues.
DD asking a chum over for a sleepover - kids off school on Monday - although we're not off.
Waiting to hear about arrangements south - probably early May due to all the holidays.

Rearranged the dining room/sunny room and like it better like this - got my bedroom to try and sort too - bomb site.
