I know someone who is planning on selling their camper.......not sure if it's a split windscreen one or not, but sounds pretty darned ancient :) MrA was musing about getting it for us! Sounds fun but not particularly practical given his inability to drive these days, I've got used to my lovely automatic car, I'm soooo lazy now!

Oh boy, I couldnt resist one of those. I found one on Ebay that I am drooling over at the moment.

Cheery, I bet you felt really bad when you bumped the van. everybody is so busy.

Will catch up with you all when I can. Pip, you take it easy.

 At Daffs and the Campervan - thankfully no damage done but I bet you'll go :o every time you think of it for a bit!

Stripes you do sound ludicrously busy at the moment, but it sounds like it's all coming together. I'm currently taking a break from trying to sort out the bedroom (in a "my god this needs a tidy up and some dust removed" kind of way) by posting on here and trying to do OnePoll surveys which are extremely S-L-O-W today for some reason. *sighs* My iPhone App for it isn't working at the moment either. *sighs again*

I do still feel :o about it cheri! :o

I did argue for one of those when we had to scrap our last cheery van :D However, they're notoriously unreliable, and expensive for what they are, and while extremely cheery, we decided we wanted something this time that had half a chance of getting to its destination on any given day :rotfl:
  • Hello all

    I may be getting old

I've spent the past hour and a bit finishing that hedge (all but the pesky too thick stems which I need my superdoopersaw for) and thats it cut and stacked down as a windbreak for them. a bit of it was thicker than my arms - and my poor pruning saw was groaning. Or maybe that was me!

Nice to help someone and get some free cuttings.

However, I must be getting on a bit - once, long ago, in a far away land - I could chop 40-50 ft hedge down. toss it behind me and look for the next job!

Off for mash - and gravey and yorkie - yum - just what I need :)

    Hope you're all good

Yummy dindins Pippi, I had baked potato and butter, mmmmm deeelish. DD was fed at a friend's so it was me, a spud and a glass of wine :)

We've had a very lazy day, DD was under the weather so I kept her off school, and we watched TV, I worked (ish) and nattered to MrA on facebook, from the tone of his messages, it sounds like he's on the mend, hoorah ;):) !! Roll on the weekend!
