    Hi all
Finally planted the seeds yesterday. There's lots of rain forecast for today so just been out with the 'organic pelleted manure' and strewn it around the borders with gay abandon. The rain makes it mush down and therefore stops the dog eating it with disastrous digestive consequences ( you really don't want to know).
What does anyone think about Dahlias, in the do you just plant them later in the year or start them of in pots sense?.

no hang on - sea cucumbers look exactly like turds, like this

Are you thiking of sea slugs? They come in all sorts of pretty colours and patterns (and they have the advantage that they can't possibly be eating your carefully tended veg seedlings!)

    No I'm just a weirdo :)

Good luck with your chapter Pippi :)

Have you got the sun up there? It's grey and windy and dreich (? is that right?) down here, MrA's over at his house with man-flu (or possibly tonsillitis :( ), DD's complaining about feeling poorly and I've got prickly coldy eyes, so it looks like I'll be at home watching CBeebies most of the day! Oh well, should be a NSD apart from sending a couple of CDs off I sold on Amazon - flipping well needs to be as I've done the sums for April and it's not looking good........
  • kk cold here but not raining

Poor you for the ill ones and the pennies

Mine aren't looking great either - pennies (OH is sick too....)
