    Hya Pippi

Glad you had a good (and MSE) trip down to E, and saw DD off safely. The compost deal sounds pretty good...might have to investigate tomorrow when in town.

Sending you 1/2 a packet of poached eggs soon...not sown mine, just transferred to another packet. My peas are up already (in guttering in greenhouse), sowed half what I got from you (and some others I found lurking in a corner)...will sow the rest in a few weeks for a succession...oooh will I remember though...usually forget :D

Off to get tea sorted...what to have...been pretty disorganized re meals lately..having veggie DS1 home just complicates matters too when all we fancy is some sausages! ;)

    Ok bargain alert.

B&q have buy 4 composty gro bag things (grow bags are essentially size zero compost supermodels) which u can use like normal compost, don't let anyone convince you otherwise - it's marketing rubbish.

    Anyway b and q have buy 4 grobag (@ 1.68 ea) get one free - so 5 for 4 - takes cost down a fair bit (3.9 p litre)

It's cheaper than their large bales of 120 l compost (6.99) is 5.8p litre - and the value compost works out at 4p litre - so it's a good deal.

For example at home a big bale compost is 7.99

I need about 10 (ish) but I'm obsessed of course with plants and growing my own food.

Ive saved about £40 buying these from b&q to the home price

If u need any - I'd go get some whilst it's on offer!

5 gro bags for 4 - great deal - and useful for everything.

Tell grandad - if you still need compost thats the cheapest stuff - battery flat on phone or I'd ring you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
