i've been productive today on my day off, made 39 thank you cards for my friend and some change of address cards for her. Weather was too horrible to do much outside. Back to work tomorrow :(

read your blog at 3 am this morning whilst sitting drinking tea. It was very enjoyable. You have been so busy.

just read your blog as well, it's fab! makes me wonder if i blogged about my allotment that i would work harder up there. It would certainly give me the incentive. Trouble is i can barely make a diary interesting i doubt i'd be able to blog at all.

Pippi, I love your chickens, they're sooo gorgeous :) You've done so much in your garden, lovely! Yum yum to Pavlova Avenue, I had raspberries in my garden but when the fence blew down and was replaced, the builder trampled all over them and ripped them up :(

Yay, got through my first no spend day for this pay month, I resisted the urge to go looking for YS stuff in MrT's on my way back from a swim at lunchtime, I really have no need for any more dented tins of beans or tomatoes, the cupboards are full, full, full!! Hopefully the only food shopping I'll do this month is for fresh fruit/veg and dreaded meat/fish for MrA (well, I will occasionally share the fish).....but he should reimburse me for his strange addiction, lol.....

Keiss you should get your lovely order tomorrow :)

X off to catch up - we'll get each other through this month honest injun
Oooh, getting excited now...better get to bed so I am up in time for the postie!!

My shoulder is at last becoming more mobile again...it just siezed up last week and has been incredibly painful for days :(. I gave up yesterday and just watched loads of Numb3rs series 1 (DS's)...this made sure I sat down and did nothing else...I even forgot about the rugby and cricket...shame on me :o!!!

DH managed to get quite a stretch of raised bed re-edged at the weekend (18" high and 16' long)..still got another 20 or more feet to go!! We have to move the rasps first though.:)

They are Autumn Bliss, and I got the originals as cuttings 13 years ago. Should I get new ones, or dare I take the youngest canes and replant elsewhere?? There doesn't seem to be any problem with viruses that I have noticed, and we had a massive crop last year. It seems a shame to get rid of these canes and buy new ones. Any help with this quandry greatly recieved.

Oh and hot news...some of the tomato seeds I sowed last Wednesday are up already!!!:eek: Goodness knows what I am going to do with them this early!! Really should have just sowed the peppers...but got carried away (again!) :rotfl:

Will report once my parcel has arrived...how exciting!
