I'm good, Pippi, don't worry - reading your planting plans, I wonder about windowsills when they have a radiator underneath - the heat blasts out, and I'm sure little seedlings would die. The two windowsills of mine at the back of the house don't have that problem, so I'm happy - the one in the office, which is where I am now, has the basil and the coriander that I split up from supermarket plants I'd bought. The basil looks good, but I'm still not sure if most of the coriander will make it. Oh, and when I went to my old town a couple of days ago, I bought little planting trays - the ones that have individual pots in - 5 for £1, looked good value.
Take care of yourself.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Glad you're home safe Pippi, and that OH is enjoying himself! :T :T (don't tease the poor man too much!
)
(((hugs for family too))))) and :rotfl: at granny whizzing up and down on the bed :j
:T for little seedlings! :T At least you've not got snow up there! :eek:0 -
Aaaah, lovely Granny with her magic bed, glad she's having some fun
Cheery - don't speak too soon about snow, just read a horribly scary weather report saying there's going to be cold, gruesome, maybe snowy weather coming back next week
Things are lovely and nice and sunny for me todayDD and MrA really liked each other when they met today and DD reiterated her invitation that he can come to tea whenever he likes!! I kind of knew it would go well as DD's fantastic, MrA's lovely, and they both like me, so what could have possibly gone wrong?!?! (hmmm.....)
As it was raining (oh what a shame we couldn't go for the bike ride, lol), we drove to a restaurant and had a very yummy lunch, then DD took us to a museum that she'd visited with school and loved, she was very proud and happy to show us around her favourite exhibits. She made some new little chums and had a whale of a time running around with them and playing with some toys whilst we sat, nattered and watched.
The day just flew by and thankfully, even though I had a wild night out with the girls last night, I wasn't hungover, woo hoo!! (or is that a bad sign that I drank so much and am not suffering.....hmm)
Yippee!!0 -
Oh I'm so pleased it all went well Kittikins! :T :T And what a shame about the bike ride

Love the idea of a whizzy bed. Sounds like fun. I want to see the Kings Speech, glad to hear you enjoyed it.
Moo is not too well, hence me up at silly oclock!!! He has a grumbly tummy and I worry about bloat so prefer to sit in a cold dark living room with him rather than hearing him crying like a baby. What are we like with our animals, you chasing chickens in the wind and me sitting in the dark? At least yours are productiveSome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
Maty I'd like a bed like that too
Cheri - poor moo - hope he's ok today - and I'd hardly call peedie productive - lol
Howling a hooley here today - no rain though so going for a stormy walk by the sea xx
Hope you are all good - pop back laterTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hiya! Sounds lovely weather for a walk, Pippi, if you're dressed for it, which I know you will be.
Isn't it odd about whizzy beds? I've had that sort of fun on my dad's stairlift when he first got it, and a friend who was in a wheelchair sat on a table and let a few of us zoom about a hall ... it was the most fun I've had sitting down2023: the year I get to buy a car0
